It would have helped if someone could show us to the property. It was difficult to find the address and the directions given weren’t correct.

Apartamento maravilhoso, espaçoso, confortável, bem equipado. Estavamos em 3 adultos, e super atendeu para 4 dias. Próximo a vários mercados, restaurantes, metrô. Fui para maratona, então priorizei fiar próximo a largada, um pouco afastado dos pontos turísticos, mas o metrô super atende. A empresa responsável super atenciosa, não nos deixou desamparado em nada.
De fato o hall do prédio tem um cheiro peculiar de esgoto, mas não entra no apartamento.

It was a good location. It's on a side street not far from tourist sites. I didn't want to be surrounded by tourists and advertising and knew we would get some feel for a neighborhood here. It was extremely clean. Keys were digital and we picked up 1 key card in case of emergencies.
One of the single beds is too hard and needs a better mattress. The wifi didn't work the first day and couldn't be sorted out over texting. For the future, it would be nice to provide instructions on how the oven/microwave works and instructions on garbage sorting/disposal with provision of more bins/bags for sorting.
