The staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s a lovely place in a very safe area, and you can really feel that as soon as you arrive. The room is spacious and well equipped, with a kitchen where you can actually cook your own meals, which is a big plus.

It’s difficult to give an overall rating as I stayed here twice at different times, and the experiences were very different. My first stay (Room 15) was simply perfect, but unfortunately, the second stay (Room 7) was quite the opposite. We booked twin beds but were given a king bed, and had to wait at least 20 minutes for the room to be rearranged. Towels were also forgotten, the bedsheet was torn, there was mold in the bathroom, and a used sheet had been left in the cupboard. Hopefully these issues can be addressed, as my first stay was excellent and showed that the place can be very good.

Starting from the reception, everyone was so welcoming and warm. The room was just beautiful. Very clean and everything I needed was available, even wine glasses!! The balcony had some seats, good for enjoying the afternoon sun. The blackout curtains were my favorite part, I could sleep in without noticing the light. The breakfast spread was also good. I had an amazing quiet time, exactly what I needed. This will definitely be my Sandton stay! I recommend 100%!

The bathroom had a musty smell when you enter it first, it was not too strong.

Breakfast is terrible. Staff are unfriendly. The lady with spectacles in the breakfast area does not greet when asking for room numbers. She does not even greet back if you greet her. The front staff give the impression that they are doing you a favour. The rooms are in need of maintenance. THE SHOWER GOES COLD MID SHOWER FOR A LONG TIME. I have stayed at this property many times over the last 4 years but I can see that it is in complete decline.
