A lovely small apartment

Very nice holiday apartment on the first floor of a building that is housing roundabout 5 apartments. It is pretty small but somehow works very well, with a nice functional kitchen corner that is equipped much better than what we were used to from holiday apartments. The eating table is flanked by two small windows to the east providing morning sun and a nice view over adjacent corn fields. The bathroom and bedroom both have small windows with built in mosquito nets which is a definitely a big plus in a rural area like Dunsum. The nearby shared playground and barbecue area are a nice addition and offer a great sunset view over the beautiful flat landscape bordering to the east of the estate. Shortest route to the dike is 10 minutes walking distance or 2 minutes by bike. The nearest beach in Utersum is a 6 minute bike ride. All in all a great holiday experience.

- We sometimes wished there would be a retractable clothehorse or something for drying wet towels and bathwear. - The included laundry service is only for the apartment's own towels and bedlinen (no biggie but a bit misleading) - Last point is entirely subjective: We prefer to sleep on firm mattresses and the ones here were extremely soft.

Ruhig, zweckmäßig und super SAUBER!!!!

Schöne FeWo mit allen Dingen, die man während einer Urlaubswoche benötigt. Ausstattung zweckmäßig und sehr sauber! Sehr ruhige Lage am westlichen Ende von Föhr mit eigenem Stellplatz.

Check in ab 16:00 Uhr ist zu spät. Ist früher möglich, kostet aber zusätzlich 28€ Check out um 9:00 Uhr ist zu früh, später ist möglich, kostet aber wieder zusätzlich 28€ Der Schlüssel muss in Alkersum abgeholt und wieder hin gebracht werden (ca.7 km). Liegt auf dem Hin- bzw. Rückweg, ist aber bei den Check-in/ Check-out Zeiten ( vor allem Check-out) nervig und ärgerlich. Adresse der Wohnung schlecht kommuniziert. Entweder eine richtige Adresse ( Straße mit Hausnummer und PLZ Ort oder Google Maps Koordinaten mitteilen). Wh 27 in Dunsum ist nicht hilfreich, wenn man nicht einheimisch ist und die Informationen bei der Schlüsselübergabe waren auch nicht hilfreich. Eine Ladestation für das E-Auto wäre toll, es gibt aber grundsätzlich auf Föhr genug öffentliche Ladepunkte. Einrichtung der FeWo ist zweckmäßig, offensichtlich mag man dort tickende billige Plastikuhren und Beistelltische und Tischlampen...weniger ist oft mehr. Die Treppe in Wohnung 27 ist bisschen schmal und steil.. gerade mit Koffer. Unser Hund fand die auch nicht so gut.
