GCA Apart Victoriei

Locatie excelenta .

Quiet and good area, easy to get into the property, arranged by the host.

It would be better if it had a kettle, microwave, or coffee machine for a late snack or early coffee.

I was left stranded because of a "ghost" apartment listed on Booking that didn't actually exist; the rebooking options they offered were either way over my budget or not even located in the city. I found this apartment at a low price, and the speed with which my reservation was accepted and I was able to check in was impressive. Although the apartment building entrance looks like something out of *Resident Evil 3*, the neighborhood is upscale—with embassies and stately buildings—and quiet. The small terrace is a nice feature to have. Spacious fridge with a functional freezer.

Two things reveal a lack of care on the part of the person managing the apartment: the lack of cutlery and kitchen utensils, and the general cleanliness of the place. Regarding the former: although there is a kitchen, there is only one measly pot—which, to make matters worse, has a rusted, warped bottom, making it impossible to cook with. There is nothing else. I asked if they could bring another pot, a frying pan, or anything similar, but they refused. As for the latter: basic issues—such as ensuring the duvet isn't stained or that there isn't an immense amount of dust and grime accumulated over the years—would be easy to fix if there were even a minimal level of care. Finally, while I understand there isn't much to be done about it, the toilet (which is ridiculously small) is the type with a trap system that seems like it could clog at the slightest provocation and start overflowing. Thank goodness that didn't happen to us, but the risk is certainly there...
