TREETOPS PENTHOUSE Rose Bay Sydney, 3 bedrooms

Our host was simply amazing. Wendy was so helpful with ideas to see different areas of Syndey including the wonderful walks around Bondi and Coogee. And she spoiled us rotten with a beautiful cheese platter on arrival plus all the condiments we needed for a hearty breakfast each day before we started our adventures each day. The apartment was tastefully decorated and immaculate. Our daughters were delighted they got their own rooms which was not possible staying at a hotel. There was a local supermarket, bakery, chemist and bottle shop just a 2 or 3 minute walk from the accommodation. There was a bus route also nearby and the cost of an Uber from Circular Quay to the apartment averaged $32. But in the morning, we would catch a bus and then a ten-minute walk to the ferry terminal at Rose Bay. Next time we are in Sydney, we will definitely be staying at Treehouse again!

There are a few steps leading up to the apartment, so if you are not up to that maybe you need to re-evaluate your choice of accommodation but that did not impact us at all.

It is a very good location, Wendy was very generous with all the food that was in the fridge and cupboards, much more than just breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay. Some very nice touches, Wendy also left us directions to the nearest supermarket (which is very close) and other places that may have been of interest.

There is only one sofa/couch, which was not too bad for us as there was only 3 of us staying, but I feel that 4+ would not have been very comfortable. There are quite o lot of stairs to the property.

Perfectly located on the bus route. Very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Wonderfully stocked fridge and pantry with everything for tasty breakfasts for our stay. Wendy is a lovely host and gave us so much privacy.

A bit of a mission to climb up stairs and a narrow passage with heavy suitcases. It is well lit though.

Bedrooms were lovely, fresh bed linens, comfortable beds & plenty of room. The bathroom is modern, clean with great shower & soft towels to include beach ones too. The kitchen has plenty of equipment & the host kindly provided complimentary tea, coffee pods & a cheese board.

The location is close proximity to local shops, restaurants & bus stops, although a bus is required to access train stations & taxi services may be required too. The property has 3 flights of stairs & carrying suitcases & bags is a struggle. The kitchen units need refurbishing & the crockery needs updating. The kitchen /living area is a little on the small side to hold 4 adults. There is one bathroom shared between 4 adults.
