Porta Downtown Apartments by Irundo

The place is nice and comfy, and it had all the amenities needed for our stay. Excellent location, just a couple of minutes off the main square and many major attractions. Rooms were nice and clean.

We had small troubles getting the entry codes, and the host had to resend them, but after a quick call, all was good. There were many constructions outside, so the balcony was non-usable (but we didn't need it anyways)

It's location is great

I had not done my due diligence and didn't realise there was no iron or ironing board and that it was in 2nd level with stairs. My fault, not theirs. The shower head bar was broken and fell off the wall and they were not aware of this, but said they would notify maintenance.

Right next to the main square, tram line, Xmas markets & supermarkets (SPAR), shops, restaurants etc. Large Lounge & bathroom, med room, no roof to balcony but need as smoke thereon ! Bed, couch, linen all good. Uber was $10 to Malls.

Old building being renovated like its neighbours. Wifi kept dropping every 2-5 mins while staying for a few days & couldn't even connect to it, when trying to get the door code (as we don't travel with wifi/data). Sending codes at check-in rather than 24-48 hrs before is aggravating - they should send it early like the French and activate at the time ! No working heater in the bedroom although rest in lounge & bathroom did. Croatian water, especially ZAGREB has so much calcium in the water, that the kettle & one's throat becomes clogged up.

No wardrobe, an old bed, and a smaller-sized duvet covers.
