Exactly what I needed. Comfortable apartment 5 minutes walking from the beach. Amazing host! Very affordable price.

Proximity to the beach and affordability.

I booked a double room that supposed to have a dining area and kitchen facilities and a garden view. I got a room WITHOUT those features, which is very disappointing, but only realized on my second day. Even though it says that the property accepts card I had to pay in cash (the other alternative was to make a transfer that incurred a fee and elevated the final price). The room I got was nice though. It needs tiny improvements such as a place for you to put your clothes on top, and a easier way of using the microwave and kettle as they don’t really reach the power socket where they are now. In the description it says it has a hair dryer but it doesn’t, unfortunately. The owner is VERY nice though. He took me around to explore for a bit, have lunch, introduced me to his friends. This was quite nice and I would stay there again only because of this, and the location of the property, not because of the room or installations. Staying in the room, in the building I’ve stayed can be very loud sometimes as it is a building that locals rent the rooms to live in and they were talking/shouting at times. But, if you want to meet locals this is the place to be. The location is perfect if you have a CAR (15 main drive to pigeon point) or would like to walk to Buccoo beach (5min walking distance).
