Nice modern apartment, comfortable for two, in a quiet part of Chamonix. Nice view from the windows (Aguille du Midi), not far from Chamonix centre with shops a caffes and about 15-20 walking distance from Cable cars going up to to Aguille du Midi and Brévent. Fast internet available in the apartment came handy.

Renovation of the nearby property is the full sway. It didn't bother us too much.

Great quiet location with amazing views of the mountains. The space is perfect for 2 people but would be a real squeeze for 4. Overall we had a great stay and the owners are very helpful and responsive to questions and issues. You can also walk upto the Brevent gondola via laneways which takes about 10 mins on foot, or get the #1 bus just down from the property to Flegere side.

As described, the property is located up a steep drive which in snow and ice requires 4WD/AWD with winter tires and maybe also snow chains in some cases. We had a 2WD with snow ‘socks’ and we could not get up the drive and had to park in the road below. This meant we had to drag our heavy bags up the steep drive. If icy, bring some snow spikes for your boots as it can be very slippery on foot. The drive is not particularly steep, but in winter with snow and ice, please come prepared and set your expectations. Steep access drives are very common in this area so this is not an issue with this property alone, it’s just a fact that needs planning and preparation before you arrive. Also there was a really bad smell coming from under the kitchen sink which seems to be a plumbing issue that needs urgent attention. Our supplied towels were also a little smelly and were changed over within minutes by the owners. I think there’s a few small issues that need to be fixed and the property would be perfect. For example doors not closing properly, plumbing issues, kitchen kick board falling off when you open the dishwasher etc. It just needs a little effort and small investment to fix them properly. Saying all of the above we had a great stay and would definitely return.
