Franklin Manor Bed and Breakfast

Beautiful home and Rob was so delightful. We really enjoyed our stay at the Manor and Lake Saranac was a wonderful place to hang.

I wish we had brought our slippers because I didn't read the fine print and shoes aren't allowed in the house.

Delicious full breakfast. Comfortable surroundings. Variety of rooms to suit your needs. Great night sleep. Coffee, tea, snacks available. Great location. Walkable to downtown & bike trail. Close to many places to hike.

Bookings.com failed to explain our private bathroom was down the hall. Franklin B&B has all the room details on their website so know the name of the room for the details.

This house is absolutely beautiful. The interior design, furniture, and overall styling are done with incredible taste. Whoever designed it did a truly amazing job. Everything is so aesthetic, warm, and thoughtfully put together, we were honestly speechless. Saranac Lake itself is also wonderful. It feels like a little Christmas town, so charming and peaceful. This was our first time visiting, and we will definitely be coming back. Lake Placid is only about a 20 minute drive away and is just as beautiful. The hosts were outstanding, always available and incredibly helpful. We had a small issue with the heating, and they had it fixed within 30 minutes, which we really appreciated. We had an amazing stay and can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely return.

Beautiful house. Room was fabulous. Location was excellent.

Private bathroom was not next to our room. Not a complaint as the layout of the house dictates. Thankfully Rob provided beautiful robes to use to the bathroom. Breakfast was homemade and beautiful but a little choice would have been welcome.
