Great spot in Sauze D’Oulx

Super close to the ski field, was warm, not too loud as some other reviews suggested. Staff were amazing and good value for money.

Perfect stay at Hotel Derby Bar

We had an amazing snowboard holiday at Hotel Derby Bar. Three friends travelling together, and from the moment we arrived Laura and the whole team looked after us so well. Their friendliness and constant willingness to help made the trip even better. The room was warm, comfortable, and ideal after long days on the mountain. The shower was incredible — exactly what you want after snowboarding. Every interaction with the staff felt personal, and they were always offering assistance with anything we needed. A fantastic hotel with a fantastic team. We couldn’t have asked for more with some genuinely magical moments. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

Location is invaluable: exactly in the central square: near to markets, public transportation (free) to the ski slopes departure. Breakfast offered at the near bar/bakery/pastry shop Clean, large rooms. Staff ready and kind. Not to be missed: price for quality 3000%

A great spot

The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Very helpful and polite. Location was great unless you want an early night as music from downstairs can be loud. That said they do provide ear plugs

Friendly and clean

Humble but clean accommodation. Comfortable beds with clean fresh linen and nice pillows and duvets. Nice continental breakfast. Very welcoming owner and staff.

Great location right in the middle of Sauze d'Oulx. Basic hotel facilities, but clean rooms with a good breakfast included. Friendly and helpful staff, changed the mattress when we told them it was too soft.

Bring ear plugs as the hotel rooms are above the bar. It's a budget hotel so set your expectations accordingly.

Exceptional

The room was really warm, the location was perfect and the staff really friendly. They have a store room for your ski gear which was really helpful and on top of all of that they went to the effort of posting back a teddy bear we had left which was very much appreciated. Would really recommend this hotel as good value for money, nice facilities and great staff.

Derby Hotel - great holiday

The rooms are basic and clean, large bathroom with shower. Frank and his staff are excellent and the breakfast is great. The Derby bar downstairs is lively and great fun.

Nothing really, if you are a very light sleeper then be aware of the facts that the Derby Bar is hectic. Having said that if you can't sleep you probably are not skiing hard enough!

My stay was warm, welcoming and worth visiting again!

I loved my huge bedroom and bathroom because it had plenty of storage for all the equipment of a ski holiday. The quick and easy breakfast was so pleasant and was made even better with their friendly staff. The hotel location was incredible, so close to the ski lifts, bars restaurants etc. In all honesty, the best part of my stay were the genuinely lovely people. Frank and Jeilan are amazing. I was so welcome as soon as I arrived and they were so helpful and flexible throughout my stay. I can’t wait to come back again! I can’t recommend Hotel Derby Bar enough.

Sauze, Salice tre giorni intensi

Il bar sotto all'Hotel frequentato da giovani e famiglie sia dopo-sci che dopo cena. Serata con musica dj-set. La colazione con una buona scelta sia dolce che salato. La camera spaziosa ed il bagno ben strutturato e con doccia molto grande La posizione a 5 minuti, in salita, dalla seggiovia. Il deposito sci e scarponi. La gentilezza dei proprietari e l'accoglienza di Laura. Grazie! P.S. dicevano che poteva esserci rumore ma in realtà dalle camere non si sente nulla.

Nulla, tutto per perfetto per una bella vacanza sugli sci. Forse....sono stato fortunato a trovare posteggio gratuito appena fuori dalla ztl...sarebbe bello avere una convenzione o qualche poston riservato per i clienti.

Molto brava la persona che accoglie e gestisce le camere, pulito, centrale (ma vedi commenti sulle criticità)

Tre piani senza ascensore, stanza sottotetto per me che soffro il caldo era calda. La posizione centralissima è arma a doppio taglio perché è comodo per avere tutto lì, ma c'è tanto rumore e confusione. La colazione non è in hotel ma nella pasticceria di fianco. Non c'è un parcheggio dell' hotel e quello più vicino è a pagamento. Diciamo che secondo me è fuorviante la definizione di hotel, è più un affittacamere secondo me... è vero danno la biancheria e rifanno la camera, però personalmente mi aspettavo altro. In ogni caso sulla persona che se ne occupa nulla da eccepire, svolge bene il suo lavoro ed è gentile e disponibile.

La stanza era semplice, ma bella grande, con due balconcini e una bagno molto grande. Sopratutto era pulitissima!

Niente! Mi è piaciuto tutto! Capisco che alcune persone cerchino qualcosa con più servizi ma per noi era più che sufficiente, l'unica cosa che ci è dispiaciuta è non poterci stare di più perché dovevamo ripartire in viaggio!

Esperienza nella norma

Laura è molto gentile e simpatica. Ci ha preparato la camera prestissimo e ci ha dato tante info sugli eventi del weekend. La camera è ok. Sarebbe stata top con il bidet e ascensore (stanza al terzo piano), però era molto pulita e sufficiente per una notte.

Mi aspettavo la colazione in hotel con dolce e salato, invece la breakfast room dell'hotel non viene utilizzata e sono convenzionati con il bar di fianco che ovviamente ha solo il dolce. Le brioches erano secche e non siamo riusciti a consumare l'intero voucher di 7€.

Merveilleuse semaine à Sauze d’Oulx dans un hébergement parfait!

Le personnel très gentil. Super accueil de Laura qui voulait pratiquer son français 😊 personnel dynamique et souriant au petit dej. Grande chambre et salle de bain propre et fonctionnelle.

C’est un peu bruyant certains soirs avec le 5 à 7 mais avec les bouchons pour les oreilles ça règle le problème.😊
