The house is in a scenic residential area of the Linda Mar neighborhood in Pacific, on a hill with the back yard overlooking part of the town and the coast. The neighborhood was quiet, but still less than a mile from the beach and convenient shopping areas.
The beds and furniture were comfortable and in good condition, and the entire house was clean. The house has a compact design with everything on one floor, but the bed rooms and bathrooms still had ample space to use comfortably.
The kitchen appliances all worked well, including a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher.
The fire pit with chairs in the back yard looked inviting, but it rained most of the days we were there, so we didn't get to try it.
Only a couple trivial inconveniences. The kitchen light switch was located on the opposite side from the entry door, which was awkward when we came in after dark. There are relatively few electric outlets in the bedrooms, which is common for houses that were built over 40 years ago.

Great place to stay for a family, located on a calm street with an incredible view. Beds were super comfortable, everything was clean and host was very attentive to our needs.
