The property was extremely clean, lovely rooms and the owner was amazing . Also the views from the roof of wat Arun were great at night. This place is a real hidden gem for anyone who wants a quieter stay in Bangkok, but still close distance to all the fun. Absolutely recommend.

There’s wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Maybe walking up the stairs a bit, but wasn’t any real problem .

The place is located near one of the temples in the old district, but the surrounding area isn’t the most attractive. The service is somewhat informal since the owner or staff member speaks very limited English, so most communication happens through WhatsApp. It’s a very simple accommodation, and honestly, not the most comfortable place I’ve stayed in. Additionally, I had to climb four floors without an elevator, which was quite challenging with Bangkok’s temperatures regularly exceeding 38°C. The lodging system feels similar to a hostel—while the rooms are private, the rest of the services follow a self-service approach. For example, they show you how to make coffee but also where the sink, soap, and drying area are to clean up afterward.

What I liked the least was that the bathroom—including the shower and toilet—was not inside the room but in a shared area. Although I had a designated private space, it was still outside my room. If I needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, I had to get dressed and walk to it, which completely woke me up. At this stage in life, convenience matters, and having everything in one place makes a big difference.
