Its modern facility with great view of both sea and mountain. Stuff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is way better than many other experience of mine. They offered me free upgrade that I needed to mention.

It was a winter visit of Amasra. So I would expect heaters would work all night long. However at night, central system heaters have turned off. Its was pretty cold.

This is a basic, clean and comfortable family run hotel, but it’s the hosts that make it exceptional. Fluent English and eager to share advice to get the most out of our time in Amsara. The breakfast was buffet style, one of the best we had during our 3 weeks in Turkey. Many of the items home grown and home made with obvious pride.

WiFi was weak in the evening when multiple guests were online. Worked fine other times of the day. May need to plan accordingly if internet is needed.

We really enjoyed our stay here , principally because of the very hardworking and engaging owner. He met us straight out of the car , we were offered tea, and lots of good advice. It is a pleasant 2.5km walk down into town , and a minivan runs every hour back up if you don’t want to walk. The room was comfortable , and had a great view. It was incredibly easy to access by rental car with parking right outside the front door. The breakfast was prepared thoughtfully , and all the breads and pastries were handmade by the owner. Great selection of salad ingredients too. Best of all , was that he so kindly managed to get us a reservation - the best table at the best restaurant in town . So special.

We liked the 4th floor and exercise, but there is no elevator , so request a lower floor if you are not able.
