Villa Thetis Sfakia

Villa Thetis is an amazing property. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped is the perfect base to explore the beautiful Sfakia region. It has a large infinity pool, many indoors and outdoors seating areas and fantastic view of the sea. Special note to the owner Manolis who was very generous and welcoming to us.

The outdoor areas of the villa are overlooked by other properties.

The house was very comfortable, roomy and had everything we needed. The highlight was the infinity pool whose horizon was the sea! Every afternoon we were joined by starlings who swooped down to skim the pool and then looped around for another dive. It was a gorgeous sight. The property is very close to Sfakia town but in the heat we preferred to drive. It is also close to the most gorgeous beach - Ilinga, which was breathtaking. Sfakia is a delight - small, friendly and not inundated with tourists. We loved it.

The WiFi is pretty bad - so be prepared for that! We had a few issues with the house but Christina was very responsive.

Great pool, garden and outdoor facilities. The kitchen/living room area was big and open making a stay with two small children very comfortable and enjoyable.

The location is fanstastic you can see miles East and West along the coast watching the sunset. The villa is very modern and decorated to a very high standard throughout. The owners supply a coffee machine sandwich toaster, salt, coffee, pepper. There is everything you need in the kitchen utensils knives everything we needed was there. We had wine buiscuits crips on arrival which is a very nice touch. Christina who looks after the guests is on hand for anything you need. She texted us to see if we needed anything throughout the stay. Instructions were concise. As it was late the key left in the door for us. The pool is an infinity pool that looks out to sea , the views are amazing you can see to Gavdos on the horizon. Its only a short walk down to the town through a very quiet residential area. The poolside area is very private. There is a gas BBQ. 6 loungers, deck chairs tables. There is even an electric extendable awning if you want protection fron the sun as the property is south facing and gets the sun all day. Inside there are 2 sofa with comfy cushions and a very large TV with netfix. I would stay again in an instant. The owner has a boat rental company if you fancy renting a 30bhp boat to explore the coast. This was one of the nicest villas we have had and I could not find fault..... very happy. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The only downside is the pool is slighly overlooked by the next door poroperty but it wasnt a problem.
