    For a different place to stay, like in this 138 yo house, this is the place. You feel like being transported into time, and that makes the stay special. The staff is extremely nice, and I very much enjoyed the welcome drink (I chose sake). However, the lack of toilet / shower in the room will push some people (I knew it, but that was okay with me). What I didn’t know, and I didn’t appreciate, is the lack of sound insulation with the outside. The windows are not at all noise proof, and that means that you’ll hear cars travelling on the nearby busy road at least every 5 seconds until at least midnight. I’m guessing a house like this has limitations in terms of how they can renovate, but I’d definitely invest in a sound blocking outer wall.

    Every corner is just beautiful. We got the privilege to meet the owner, who is Korean. Had a wonderful chat over drinks and dessert. Price is over the high side. A short walk to the tram station and convenience store.

    We only stay a night here but the experience is out of expectation. Very old tradition house modified with a modern touch.
