Could have been great BUT really wasn’t

Beautifully clean and all necessities provided. Location superb

Drains/ toilet blocked on first day - dealt with punctually and efficiently. Wooden slats on bed base collapsed - one adult sleeping in it. According to a review from 2024 this may be a recurring problem. Could not get a single channel on the television, just a “ no signal “ message. Asked repeatedly for advice - no reply. Had to leave day early because of bed situation - totally unusable.

Convenient, well equipped, good location for harbour and beaches. I read previous feedback - it was good to note issues had been rectified. Property cleaned to a high standard apart from sofas. Two car parking spaces (just!).I would be happy to rebook.

Sofas need hoovering as dusty in places. Some crockery not clean.Four dead houseplants and 20+ with dead or drooping leaves and dry soil in dire need of watering (I watered all of them in arrival and before I left). Lack of clarity about location of car parking spaces in the instructions.

Good location, needs some TLC.

Lovely location and a spacious cottage which is well furnished.. Unfortunately lacking any welcome touches or information and very cold when we arrived as no heating on and no instructions for how to turn it on. Limited help from the agents when we called. Also no keys to open the windows and no instructions for the oven or hob! Needs a good clean and a bit of TLC to make this a really nice place to stay.

Great cottage, in brilliant location, with parking and garden within lower Solva

Dampness in ground floor, but dehumidifier available. Shower in second bedroom did not work, but numerous other working showers. clothes airer to dry clothes not available, but tumble dryer in kitchen. No written guidance on recycling or waste disposal within property.

Fantastic central location. Free off street parking (Solva is very busy and popular!) Nice modern bathroom and kitchen. Comfortable bedrooms. Light and airy upstairs.

Lovely stay at Solva

The house perfect. The kitchen and dining area was lovely. Main bathroom was finished to a very high standard. There were 8 of us staying there and 2 dogs yet, we didn't feel like we were on top of each other at all. The area is beautiful too. Well worth the visit.

We had a very pleasant stay and would be happy to stay there again

It is a lovely period cottage well presented and in a good location within the village.

There were some things broken when we arrived and the bathrooms had long dangly cobwebs. also there was only 1 toilet roll in 4 bathrooms. However these issues were resolved quickly and satisfactorily. There wasn’t much to explain how things worked in the visitor details.

Had a wonderful few days in this fantastic, well equipped beautifully modernised cottage in the centre of Solva.

Lovely, comfortable cottage with everything you could want or need for a relaxing trip away.

Having en-suite bedrooms was a big plus and also have a well-equipped kitchen

Four bedrooms, three bathrooms (two en-suite) and additional ground floor wc, a comfortable, large living area, fully equipped, large kitchen , and additional large dining space table that seats 10. And all this before I even begin to talk about location! In fact, I don’t tell people about Solva as I do not want it to be overrun by other tourists like me! Solva is the single most beautiful part of Pembrokeshire that is timeless.. no matter what season you go there, it has something for you.. but don’t visit please…

Lovely Modern Clean Comfy Cottage in the heart of Solva

Great location in Solva. Very cute cottage, recently renovated, lovely comfortable beds, lots of bathrooms, all modern and well thought out. Lovely modern stylish kitchen, nice touches everywhere. Easy to get into property with the lockbox code. The radiators are individually programmed with intuitive controls. There is parking for the property too. Loved the games and the books left for us and the tv works well. Well stocked kitchen. Its a really cute cottage and would stay there again and recommend.

More information in the cottage would have been helpful - eg on the fire, the location of the parking and how the bins work would have been helpful. The house was cold when we arrived and took a while to heat up especially as no logs etc for fire. Some of the lighting in the living room and the dining area wasn't so cosy, probably just needs different light bulbs . The sofas appeared a bit old/old fashioned when the rest of the property was very tastefully decorated but they were comfy and clean so I'm being v picky! We booked last minute, the same day in fact, and so maybe that's why we didn't receive any check in information, I also found it hard to get my messages through booking.com, but that was an issue with the booking.com app and not the property managers.
