Beautiful place perfect to come back after a day of exploring

The property is beautiful. The decor and aesthetics are on point for Oaxaca.

Is like in the end point of the city center, so it requires a little bit of walking. The rooms are good for just sleeping, but you will have plenty on space in the patio.

Our stay in Oaxaca was wonderful. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the city center, surrounded by great restaurants and charming local stores. My partner and I felt comfortable and welcomed throughout our visit. Highly recommended!

Okay for a very short stay.

The property was good, the staff ON SITE were 10/10, The staff online not so good, zero communication about instructions on how to check in prior to my arrival like other properties.

The property is under construction, pictures of all facilities were not accurate. I was able to hear EVERYTHING from the room next door.

Great location and hopefully would be more affordable outside of the day of the dead weekend

The location was amazing, it was clean and very safe. I visited for Dia De Muertos, this property had an amazing view of a parade and good walking distance from the parties. Nice park nearby for a morning run.

My room allowed a lot of noise, there was a venue behind my room which kept me up for most of the night. It was very expensive over the weekend given Oaxaca is known for its festivities. The value wasn’t there for what I paid.

Would absolutely stay again next time I am in Oaxaca.

Beautiful property! Located next to a very nice park, busy street but felt safe. We could walk 15-20 minutes to everything. The room was clean and everything felt new. Beautiful designed and decorated. Bed was comfortable, there was a rain shower and great toiletries provided. Service from staff was excellent. Felt very safe and secure.

Only the busy street it’s on (lots of cars) but you’re staying in the main part of the city so to be expected and it didn’t cause any issues, just something to note. We couldn’t hear the traffic from our room.

Coffee place has to be open at 7.00, offering rather poor, Tuesday closed the whole day, person who opens the gate should be able to prepare coffees as well if barkeeper is not there Our room on the first floor was without window

Love Rosamate!

The hotel is every bit as beautiful as it looks, if not more! It's close to a park and stores. It's 10 mins walk (very pleasant stroll) from Santo Domingo and the plaza which is bustling and a huge attraction. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was tidied and cleaned every day!

The property was big and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were accommodating including the doorman who let us in and out of the compound.

If there are people talking in the hall, we could hear it from our room. But otherwise, it was good!

The staff worked hard to make you feel comfortable. The outdoor space, while under construction, was charming. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and bath had good water pressure, AC and Wifi worked well. Lovely to have a little coffee/cocktail bar on the property.

The room is small, but the patio and shared spaces made it feel more spacious. It’s on a busy (though conveniently located) street, but the rooms are set back so traffic noise is not too much of an issue. It is on a flight path, but only 2-3 jets flew overhead, usually in the morning.

Wonderful Week at Casa Rosamate

The property is perfectly located to access all that downtown Oaxaca has to offer. There is a beautiful park across the street with food vendors and kids playing. The courtyard is filled with chairs and loungers that you can enjoy during your stay and the pink walls with the cacti make for a really nice ambiance. The rooms have very comfortable beds, nice linens, and the bathroom is super clean and spacious. There is 24/7 security making me feel very safe as a single female traveller and they had strong wifi that worked in the room and courtyard when I needed to work or catch up with friends. Would 100% stay here again.

Beautiful casa in good location.

Beautiful casa, lovely ammenities and location was actually really great - a short walk to the center, and in a nice and local neighborhood. the staff doesn’t speak spanish, but they are very kind and helpful. there is a guard 24/7.

There is a cafe in the casa, it would be a great service if breakfast or maybe croissant+coffee was included in the room price. rooms are not completely sound proof, so we had to use ear plugs some of the nights.

No basics provided or available for purchase on site such as water glasses, filtered or bottled water, utensils, etc. A cafe was on site with very limited hours. Very limited front desk hours, it was hard to even know what they were.
