The space was updated with everything we could want. It was close to shopping and fine dining.

The apartment itself was awesome. All good very well appointed and all amenities included.

If you have a car the parking can be problematic. We asked specifically about the parking and were told that there was plenty of parking “across the street.” While this was true, in reality there was never any on street parking available during our entire stay. Had to park in a lot that was a 10 minute walk. This was problematic when one of us arrived alone while the other walked the Camino. When we left we had to block the street to load our bags. Drivers were nice about it but a hassle. Had we been told close parking was problematic we would not have booked this apartment despite it being very lovely. Also there is no signage on the apartment so you must know the address and then use a key code. Should be a sign to help non locals. Apple Maps is a must. That said the apartment itself was very nice.

The location is ideal for all amenities within Vila do Conde and walking distance to the coast. Metro stations, Vila do Conde and Santa Clara are equidistant from the apartment about 20 minutes walk. We used the first floor apartment which was spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything needed.

Steps up to first floor are spiral with no hand rail. It was difficult lifting suitcases up and down. The bottle opener wasnt functional so bought our own The oven didn't seem to work properly No instructions what to do with rubbish. Didn't want to leave full bags in communal spaces or in the apartment, so took it to public bin.

Nice one room + bedroom apartment where you felt almost like at home - i.e. a home away from home. Well functioning kitchen where we cooked dinner a couple of times. Well-sized bathroom. Our apartment was on top floor (2nd) of beautiful building in the old part of Vila do Conde. Walking distance from harbour, restaurants, beach and shopping
