A lovely time - just needs some tlc
Location and character
Just needs a thorough clean, lights have cobwebs, dust in top of high up areas, just needs a thorough going over.
1.0 / 10.0
Dirty, smelly and owner unapologetic and unsympathetic to the key issues raised. The whole place needs a deep clean.
Great location walking distance to key places in the town. Luckily we were fortunate to get parking outside on the street
It was filthy and stank of drains/ sewage The linen was running late . Not a problem but not nice to be greeted by full bins and bags of the previous guest’s dirty laundry

A little cramped with 4 adults and two big lads. Centre of Fram was a real pleasure.
Good location
Parking was awkward. Not sure of the reason for glass tumblers with wobbly bottoms.

Fine. Would not re-book
The host was, sadly, very inflexible. We arrived 7 minutes early to the property and the host made us wait outside the front door on the road until the exact time of entry at 4.00pm - we have never experienced this at any other place we have stayed.
The house is advertised as family friendly and sleeps 6, however there was not enough comfortable seating for 6 people. We were asked to remove the bedding, which we did not do as it is a ridiculous request, we were on holiday!

Don't bother
Good location, quaint
Rather unpleasant smell between kitchen and bathroom. No hot water, very poor support from owner. Images of the haphazard instructions left to turn on the boiler. It didn't work. Image also of our 'welcome' pack. Cleaning products. Don't expect any frills here. It might have 6 beds, but that's not reflected in the amount of dining space or comfortable seating downstairs. The door between the master (1st) bedroom and the middle bedroom is a fire hazard. Once closed, those in the middle room can't open the door from their side! We've been in touch with the owner and asked for a partial refund. She's not bothered to reply.

Lovely cosy cottage
Cottage lovely and clean and in a great location for The Crown pub, where we were attending a wedding. Good communication with owners beforehand and it was easy to find. We parked in the road outside, no problem with spaces.
The stairs were steep, which was challenging in the night, as the bathroom is downstairs, but we knew this before our visit. Also it has low ceilings for anyone tall, which we are. But for a night's stay it wasn't a problem.

Good
Great location with a good well equipped kitchen. Nice private garden at the back of the cottage.
Layout of bedrooms meant there was no window in the middle bedroom which makes it stuffy and difficult to sleep in warm weather.

A nice location and character property, but a few faults which did not meet our expectations.
Good location. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Parking in the area was easy to secure.
Damp smell downstairs. Unable to open the front windows - as it was hot, it was uncomfortable. Poor quality fridge and freezer which was not cold enough. Weak shower pressure. Low ceiling in the shower. Very steep stair case. The 3 bedrooms all have doors off one another - this would be very awkward if using more than one bedroom. As someone in the third bedroom would need to walk through two bedrooms to get downstairs.
