Lovely place to stay close to all the bars and town, clean tidy with everything you will need and more.

Having to leave

The place seemed great, but I don't feel we really got it on a good day. the beds were big and comfortable, but so much stuff we couldn't figure out how to use, with no instructions or support. Looking at other reviews, maybe we caught them on a bad day and a combination of things didn't go well. The location is just perfect, the hot tub is fantastic, when it works, but I just came away feeling a bit miffed. The T+Cs mentioned a 1000 euro deposit, this wasn't taken, so good there, I think if it was, then this would be a much worse review score.

Check in: I messaged saying we will turn up at 5pm and was asked to phone them 20 mins before turning up, quite clearly messaging would've been better. The phone was a French office number "option 1 for ... option 2 for ...." I waited it out and got through, but quite a hard phone call. When we turned up I was told to park in the peage parking, then I could park in the private space at my leisure later. It's really quite hard to park (we have a VW Sharan) and I just felt the person checking us in was in a hurry. We got a quick briefing and were told all the information was in a folder. But TV/wifi/speaker we couldn't use. Thought I would message them later as we wanted to go for a walk and meal.... came back and there was a homeless person sleeping in the covered garage. Given the phone number seemed hard I contacted them on their second messaging option (at 21.18) - didn't get a reply until 09.46! Also - only 1 set of keys and it's really easy to lock yourself out with the Yale-type lock with no support. I think at the price point, evening support needs to be provided. 2nd night the Jacuzzi temperature didn't work (again needed until the day after to fix). Final day, said we would leave at 11.00, the concierge company said they would meet and pick up the keys. Traffic in Honfluer looked really bad and we had a ferry to catch. No-one turned up, so we left the keys secure behind the automatically locking door and left. I felt my phone go as we were on the way out of Honfleur but didn't want to stop. When we stopped... I had a missed call at 11.10, a really snippy message at 11.42 saying they were at the property at 11.01 and we should've stayed for them to inspect the property (why wasn't this mentioned before?)

Very stylish; great location. Well equipped.

No toilet for the downstairs bedroom. Sunken bath very difficult to use as no handles. Not a comfortable place for 6 to sit other than at the table. Shower on top floor slow to drain and shower head slips down kinking the water flow. Impossible to move the thermostat to cold on the shower.

Loved the design and feel of the property. Very spacious for 6 of us.

It is just a shame that the property has not many en-suite toilets.

The apartment was huge and looked fabulous, ideally located, close to the beach and to the city center. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect!

The kitchen equipment could be more comprehensive, we missed some items for cooking.

Location - Honfleur is beautiful and the property is just a short walk from the town Property is very clean and well decorated throughout
