Well-appointed apartment with everything you need. And right by the pool which was very refreshing and essential. Couldn’t swim at any beach with the seaweed stacking up. The property staff were very responsive in helping us move to a better room.

Everything about this Casa del Arbol is exactly as described. Excellent service when I had a few problems. Pool is cleaned every day. I would come back here in a flash. Great location. Three blocks from Chedraui Selecto. Five blocks from Parque Rotario where I took the Collectivo to the beach for 25 pesos. Recommend this place 200%.
The even have drinking water on site where you can fill up you own water bottles. Tap water not drinkable anywhere in Tulum.
There was nothing to dislike except for sargassum on the beach. This is an environmental problem that has nothing to do with this property.
Excellent value for money paid.
Staff were extremely polite and did everything they could to fix minor problems.

I have been traveling for over 4 months, in 6 countries and over 20 accommodations. The first thing I look for is free wifi and what other guests have written about the quality of the internet. I started to realize in 2022 that the variation is great in these countries.
In Scandinavia, where I come from, we have high-speed internet almost everywhere. In order for my TV box that I have with me to be able to watch all countries' TV in Europe, the wifi has to work and be quite strong. Then I look at the room, bed, surroundings with restaurants, shops, etc. How and when check-in takes place.
With you, it was a fantastically nice accommodation with all the parts I was looking for. Wifi was strong and mostly stable, but there could be a period of a few minutes when the connection jumps in and out. Nice staff and close to everything.
The only negative was that I needed to change rooms and didn't get the correct code for the new room via email. I stood there and couldn't get in, so I had to start hunting for the correct code.
