Very nice and quiet place

Very aesthetically pleasing bothy hut with enough space for dining/relaxing by the fire inside.
Wet room was lovely with rain styled shower head, and very modern style toilet and shower design overall.
Hot tub was great to sit in during the evening time.
The staff were super helpful and only a text away. We ran out of hot water for the shower and the staff were onsite and able to change over to a full gas canister super quick!
The hot tub is wood burning stove powered, so you would need plenty of logs that need pushed in and stuffed all the way into the back of the oven in order to get the water heated. My partner and I wanted to go in to the hot tub shortly after our check in, but because there wasn’t enough logs stocked up in the stove when we got there, the water was quite cold unfortunately.
The bed was not the comfiest and there was only 1 pillow per person, in which the pillows weren’t the most firm. My partner and I ended up waking up with quite bad neck pain from the lack of support.
The inside wood burning stove started to produce smoke out of the door when the wood was dying out (which was properly closed as we triple checked), which resulted in the hut smelling of smoke during the night and the fire alarm briefly going off.
Seeing as we were coming in from the hot tub to get showered after, I feel the hut could benefit from a drying rack for the towels in the room where the wood burning stove is just so they can dry off evenly. We saw there were hanging points for the towels in the bathroom but when the bathroom door is closed during the night the heat from the wood burning stove won’t be able to get in to dry off the towels, this is more of a suggestion due to personal preference though!

Very relaxing. Location was lovely. The cabin was beautiful, very cosy and homely. Made the use of extra amenities such as toaster and nespresso machine. Hot tub was amazing, lovely extra touch that it was preheated for us arriving. Extra breakfast items was a lovely touch :)
An extra pillow wouldn’t have gone a miss but overall a great stay :)
