1 Stansfield Mews

We are a scaffolding company based in the Wigan area, this is the second time I have booked this house over a 2 week basis for x2 of my lads working in the area, they absolutely love it and say its like staying in a palace, they were running up all 3 floors saying they've got a floor each to themselves haha. They cant wait for when we need to go back and strip our scaffolding to stay again, so when our job is finished I am really hoping this house is free to book again for the 3rd time for them both, One of my lads is a big golfer, and there's a golf site around the corner so its perfect for them to keep busy after work too. Its absolutely ideal for us as it has plenty parking for our pick ups!!

Would highly recommend this house. My lads travelled for work over a two week basis to complete a job in the local area, they we're absolutely made up, compared to what they're usually used to they felt like they stayed in luxury accommodation haha.

Nothing to dislike what so ever, my lads we're very made up.

Clean tidy and very well preserved

The property is run on a tight side. Considering the property is quite remote there was not even a half a pint of milk in the fridge. Every property I ever stayed had a welcome basket, with some biscuits, half pint of milk so you can make a cuppa after a long journey. There was hardly any salt left in the salt dispenser so literally we had to go straight out to the supermarket and buy a lot of bits and pieces that we did not bring with ourselves. I am not sure what they use for cleaning but it all stink of vinegar. The oven was lined with silver foil to cover a dirty tray. There construction going on at the nearby properties so there are always construction machines and on our arrival they were all parked in the allocated parking spaces. The workman were very quick to move the machinery, so were the next door neighbours to explain the rules of parking, since the spaces are quite tight.
