1)The location was excellent.The staff was available when we needed them and the the place was clean for the most part (see below for details). There were lots of amenities nearby and great views of the pool, ocean and resort. We would rent again from My Vacation Haven, but not that particular unit.

We have 2 major complaints, first; the couch was extremely dingy looking and stained by usage, we didn't want to sit or relax on it and watch TV without putting the sheets that were intended for the rollout bed over the cushions. It is definitely time for an upgrade to a darker or patterned color similar to the rest of the furniture or a total steam cleaning to remove the discoloration/stains. Secondly would be the extremely alarming noise the A/C unit makes when it kicks on, (and I do mean kicks on) it literally sounds like someone banging twice loudly on the outside door, it woke us up numerous times each night. There were few minor inconveniences like the light on the balcony was inoperable, and no full length mirror or night light in the bathroom, but those are easy fixes.

I did not know how everything worked. we are not accustomed to the intense sunlight. any improvement in shade would be an improvement.
