Great balance for leisure

The hostesses were super kind and helpful. The apartment is located in an internal alley full of hostels (one even with a bike rental), and filled with plants, which is very nice, with a useful super market pretty much across the street. The location was flawless... three blocks away from the beach and pretty much at the same distance to the lagoon, right at Ipanema's hot spot, near cute places to eat / drink, and a couple of blocks away from the subway. Extra points for the LGBT community: you get straight to the gay beach area and nightlife. It was well equipped for some regular cooking, and had a lock.

It's kind of weird that the bathroom's window is directly connected to the common areas (corridors). In our case it wasn't really a problem because we were at the end of the corridor so nobody would use that part but us, but, for example, we could see (and one time smell :S) the bathroom of the 1st apartment on our way out when the window was opened.

Fabulous apartment!

Perfect location in Ipanema, just a couple of blocks to the beach but close to restaurants & stores too. Exceptionally clean!! AC worked beautifully! Flight got it after midnight and key/lockbox was provided to enter very late at night. Thank you!!

Superb

The place was super organized and clean, it smelled so good. Has a great location, next to many bars, restaurants and a few blocks from the beach.

It is a good place to stay if you don't have too much luggage, as it has no elevator. We had many baggages and was uncomfortable to carry all that stuff trough the smalls stairs, but I must say that girls from the staff helped us when saw us strugling carrying the baggages. The doors make a lot of noise when closing, even if you don't want to, so you could heard pretty loud everytime a neighbor closed his door. I must say the internet was the only thing that disappont me about the place. I booked it because it has a great internet review. I was traveling with a friend who had to make some work calls and with that internet conection was hell. So, my conclusion is that it's a great place to stay if you are traveling light, want to party and no need to rely to much on the internet.

Lovely location

Beautiful and safe location in Ipanema, close to the beach and many dining and drinking opportunities. I truly enjoyed the little balcony and the apartment is well equipped with anything needed!

Nice apartment with the worst management.

The property is line the pictures, nice and cozy.

The management is the worst, they do not answer calls or messages, I had to waiting in a rainy day, wet,soaked until 7pm to check in because the management don’t care about the customer, on top of that, we lost the keys and the manager charged me 300 reals to get copies of them when copies of two regular keys in Rio is among 10 -20 reals, this was the worst staying I’ve had in my life they were about to ruin our vacation. This management is not trustworthy at all.

Perfect place to stay in Ipanema

Perfect location in the heart of Ipanema. The room was big, clean, with new appliances. The bed was comfortable, amazing shower. 1 min walk distance to Zona Sul Supermarket, 5minutes from Ipanema. Kind staff, nothing to complain. Good price!

Exceptional

The location is perfect, very close to the beach and many restaurants and shops, but it's very quiet inside. The neighborhood is very safe. The apartment is comfy, with a well equipped kitchen. The lady handling the apartment was super nice, we were able to leave our things with here after checkout.

The location is really good, nice neighbourhood and close to some restaurants and a supermarket. The apartment was like brand new, clean and lot of space. I had the room with a balcony which was nice. The apartment is located in a 'side lane' so it is a very quiet place.

The communcation with the host was not great. Doesn't speak English and it took a while to get a response (on whatsapp) when I arrived there was nobody to enter, I had the luck there was a cleaning lady, otherwise I had to wait. During check out there was also nobody to pick up the keys. In the bathroom were som little flies, but the rest was just clean. If you have a room at the uppest floor, it can be a little noisy during raining because of the material of the roof. Another thing to keep in mind, if you want clean towels you have to pay extra.

-pictures look nothing like the accommodation we stayed in, which was basically a bed shoved into a tiny kitchen. No separate bedroom or living area as the pictures showed. -wi-fi did not work for the first 24 hours - very expensive for what we got -cockroach’s in the room on first night
