The perfect base for a couple touring the area. The riverside setting is beautiful, Huntingdon itself worth a visit. The property was tastefully decorated for Christmas and with everything we could need for our weeks stay. The bed and chairs were extremely comfortable and all the linens and furnishings good quality. There is a convenient store across the road well stocked with essentials.

The Potting Shed was exactly what I was after, a quirky little place, tucked away on the grounds of Godmanchester’s ‘Island House’, it was well situated for my purpose, close to main transport routes and extremely quiet with it which was superb.
It has a ‘lived-in’ feel with relaxing decor and a comfortable ambiance and if you’ve forgotten anything, have a search about in the drawers as you will guarantee to find what you are looking for…….
The instructions for check-in / out were problem free and the only time I had any contact with the owners was during a brief conversation with Christopher who was a very nice chap indeed.
Nothing, seriously cannot fault it….
