The host was very welcoming. The accommodation was clean and as described, and the underfloor heating meant the downstairs was lovely and warm. The bed was very comfortable, and the location was perfect for me

It would have been nice if the hot water in the shower lasted longer than 10 minutes. More heating is needed upstairs in cold weather.

The host had left us a few beers and some wine in the fridge, a very welcome surprise. The beds were very comfortable.

Just a couple of very minor points. The shower tap would not stop dripping and the outside slabbed area needed a wash down

Quirky cottage - apparent "industrial" theme. Good location Friendly and helpful Host. We stayed here whilst we were working on a project nearby. It was great for that. We wouldn't necessarily stay here for a holiday.

Our dislikes may be someone's likes. Kitchen - not enough utensils. No dishwasher. Bathroom - is a Wet Room that gets very wet. The floor is dangerously slippery. Bedroom - needs a mirror. Could do with some hanging space. The lights and roof are covered in cobwebs. It would be helpful if there was some kind of instruction manual/guidance e.g. wood for the fire ... nearest stockist. How to work the oven. What pubs are open in the area. Departure requirements ... strip bed?
