More than just a B&B

The barn room and house were warm, relaxing and beautifully furnished. Everything was modern, clean and well thought out. The host was efficient and personable and the small, but important details were not overlooked. This was truly one of the most relaxing and comfortable stays I've had. For me the addition of having morning cuddles from Hamish, Doris and Charlie was the cherry on the cake. The continental breakfast, was fresh and more than plentiful, but with the added bonus of having hot options such as eggs & haggis was a nice touch. The location was perfect for easy access to The Trossachs, Lochs, stunning walks restaurants and Stirling. I couldn't fault anything and I hope to return one day. Best wishes for the future.

Perfect place to get away to!

We had such a lovely stay. Everything about our cabin was exceptional, so much love and thought has gone into making the space comfortable and unique. Tony made us feel welcome and at ease in his home, we enjoyed his company very much! It is definitely on our list of favourite places to hopefully return to. Thank you for making our wee trip for dinner special 💖

Excellent stay with a warm welcome

Tony was a fantastic host, welcoming us warmly to our accommodation at the barn conversion where we stayed overnight en route home to Birmingham after a holiday on Skye. Our bedroom was stylish and comfortable and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast in the sunny conservatory while chatting to Tony.

Magical stay

I lack the words to describe how unforgettable our stay here was. My fiancée and I still don't realize how lucky we were to have slept at Trossach Barn & Cabin and to have met Tony. The kindness of our host, (his good advice and his good cooking) combined with the incredible decoration (and the fascinating cleanliness) of the cottage, allowed us to have a memorable stay. Thank you for this moment of happiness.

Exceptional stay

This is a stunning place. A really warm welcome and a beautiful location. The views are amazing, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was cosy and extremely comfortable. The dogs are great! Tony is an exceptional host. He welcomed us with tea, made sure we had everything we needed, and even gave us a lift to Nick's restaurant. We will be returning and spending longer!

The cabin was incredibly charming: cosy, well-equipped, and beautifully set against a peaceful countryside backdrop. Tony was the heart of the experience: warm, thoughtful, and full of character. He paid close attention to every detail, from the room setup to offering coffee and tea, and preparing delicious breakfasts each morning, which we enjoyed while looking out at the fields (with cows!). The use of a kitchen gave us added flexibility, and Tony’s conversation made us feel right at home. Every element of this stay was heartfelt and idyllic.

Very relaxing stay in the country, excellent host!

The host of this accommodation house was exceptional. He was friendly, helped with restaurant advice, sites to visit and information about the local area. Breakfasts were exceptional and prepared on demand. Rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice relaxing atmosphere out in a beautiful country setting.

Only negative is that ongoing roadworks mean it is a little out of the way at the moment.

Fantastic!

This place is amazing. Tony is so lovely and very welcoming. He invited us into his home like we were old friends. Nothing is too much trouble. He does a super brekky that'll set you up for the day. The views are stunning. The sunrises are amazing. Tony's dogs Hamish and Doris are super friendly. You have everything you need here, full use of the kitchen, which came in handy when we were too tired to go out after walking, we cooked our steak dinner and sat at the table to eat. We were in the king room in the main barn building. There are plenty of places for dinner around the area. The barn is down a 1 mile we'll maintained track. It's a super peaceful place, you can sit out in the garden and just watch the cows and sheep go by. Many thanks to Tony once again for a fantastic stay.🤩🤩

A beautiful part of the world

The host, Tony, was a pleasure to deal with. He was friendly and made us feel very welcome. The property is rural and therefore nice and peaceful. Our room and en suite were clean and having full use of the kitchen was a real bonus. In the morning we were served a lovely breakfast.

We really enjoyed everything about our stay at Trossachs Barn and Cabin. If there was a criticism, and it's a minor one, the towels were quite hard.

The location is amazing.... easily found and accessible... within touching distance of great restaurants and beautiful places of interest.. our host couldn't do more to help.. including option of booking in earlier. In a truly spectacular location. Relaxing. Engaging. A wonder. If you want luxury. Catered to your every need. All with smiles throughout. The loudest noise i heard was the silence of the delicious surroundings... faculties and facilities so well appointed ..a beautiful place... Will be so happy to return... thank you Tony.

Everything from start to finish. The location is fantastic with beautiful views. We stayed in the cabin which was clean, tidy and very well equipped. The whole house was tastefully decorated and absolutely stunning. And finally Tony, the host, what can I say, friendly, welcoming, attentive to his guests and his breakfasts were superb! Perfect country getaway!

This was a perfect 2 days for us before heading back to Edinburgh. Tony and his wonderful pet family (Hamish, Doris and Charlie) made us feel welcome immediately! Tony has created an amazing 'home away from home' for his guests. It's comfortable, beautifully decorated, spacious and has views to die for from every window! Tony goes out of his way to make sure you have the perfect stay which includes an awesome breakfast, which we loved. The local area is perfect for walking, exploring and relaxing, we are already looking to book our next stay. This was our favourite stay out of the hundreds we have booked on booking.com hands down. Thanks Tony, you're a star!!!
