The rental was in an excellent location and very walkable to what we wanted to see and do. Our host made a few restaurant suggestions that turned out to be very reasonably priced and very tasty. The unit itself was very spacious, had great views, was well equipped and suited two couples very well.

Spacious, well presented apartment in a good location with superb views over the marina and port. Said was a very welcoming host who immediately provided us with a kettle missing from the kitchen. Most utensils etc were provided in the kitchen. The bed was clean but the mattress was a little firm for our taste. Hot water was plentiful and the shower good. Once I realised the key had to be used inside the lift as well that was great. Efficient air conditioning system which, however, we used to take the April chill off the rooms.

The big downside was the traffic noise at night and as the windows and sliding doors were only single glazed. A steady hum isn't too bad but at night the honking of horns and strip racing were detrimental to sleep. Some of the soft furnishings and bath mats need cleaning/replacing. Larger softer cushions would be a welcome addition. The plates, bowls and cutlery are a bit of a random collection and should be made more uniform with more of some items (wine glasses, big plates and bowls)
