Exceptionally clean. Friendly responsive host. Good location. Nicely decorated. Amazing shower! Kitchen well appointed. Loads of clothes storage. Really good fans in bedrooms. Lovely window shutters.

Most uncomfortable bed ever, pillows wafer thin, mattress extremely thin and sagging on the sides. No mirror near a light for makeup. Old used washing up sponge in kitchen. No t-towel, it felt wrong to dry up with kitchen paper!

Directions for getting in were clear and the host was friendly and responsive to questions.

The location was as described and quiet. We liked the living room’s ambiance. The bathroom was good. The kitchen was nice. It was OK for a short stay.

The beds were difficult to negotiate without bumping into the hardwood surrounding. The bedrooms were hot and in one case very small. The fans provided helped but were dusty, which didn’t help an asthma sufferer. The stairs to the bedrooms were a little bit difficult to negotiate. The living room sofas were OK but not especially comfortable. The kitchen was reasonable but would have benefitted from a cloth and/ or tea towel. The cutlery was limited. We did not use the oven so cannot comment on cooking. It was a little grubby in places. The lockbox for the keys is difficult to open and close.
