Elan

We had a fantastic stay here and would happily return. Although the accommodation is quite compact, it's been designed so well that it never felt cramped. It felt surprisingly spacious, and I can imagine it being especially cosy during the winter months. The location is absolutely stunning and makes the perfect base for exploring the Elan Valley, with its incredible reservoirs, dams and beautiful scenery. It's also within easy driving distance of Aberystwyth if you fancy a day by the coast, and there are plenty of excellent cycling routes nearby for anyone bringing their bikes. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and peaceful, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. If you're looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature, this is an ideal place to stay. We'd definitely recommend it. We noticed a couple of comments about 4g and the wifi not having great signal. We're both with different mobile operators and had no issue with 4g, and the wifi worked well enough to stream a film in the evenings.

This is so minor, but the only feedback is the handles on a couple of the pans are really loose.

Perfect quiet location with stunning views. Really warm and comfortable with excellent facilities. I stayed by myself and felt very safe. Great location for exploring the Elan Valley and could watch the Red Kites from the window! Would love to return during the summer to enjoy the bbq and outside space more.
