Apartment ski in/out Val Thorens

Val Thoren is a high altitude ski-in ski -out village. For March skiing it worked perfectly - good snow, with immediate access to the slopes. In the apartment the kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. Shower, sleep and food preparation were all well catered for. Stef, although remote, was very responsive to sort out a couple of issues. The boot and ski locker in basement of the building was useful, as was the washing machine in the apartment.

The apartment is maximised for number of beds. The (4) bedrooms are thus small and cramped, and the living space taken up by the dining room table and a built-in bench. Fortunately we were only 4 adults and a baby, and it was therefore quite manageable. However, I suspect if all the beds are filled (9 people) the apartment would be extremely crowded. Good for a "Sleeping place" - but have your après-ski in town! The apartment is in a huge apartment block (that feels a bit dingy) with about 12 floors and many apartments. Busy elevators up (to reception and town) and down (to the slopes) is part of your day.

Very cozy apartment with everything you need. It suited our family of 5 perfectly. Stef was an excellent host which made the stay even better.

I know that Stef was going to do a few jobs in the apartment, now it’s end of the season, which I’m sure will make it even better. The block the apartment is in is a bit of a maze but you get used to it quickly.

Excellent location, well equipped, outstanding host willing to help with anything and everything needed.

Rooms are small and there is no living room other than a bench in the dining area.

Group of 6 adults. Cosy bedrooms (we didn’t use the one with bunk beds in) but great use of space and had everything we needed. Great communication from Stef - always on hand for any questions . Perfect location. The overall building you walk through to initially get to the apartment is dated but as soon as we were in the apartment we forgot that. Access to two ski lockers meant we had space for all our skis and stairs straight down to the ski lockers outside the apartment meant we were on the slopes in minutes!
