We like this apartment because of its location, its size and outside areas and for the swimming pool.

The pillows are too hard for our liking.

Hugo was very nice and friendly and the accommodation is close to a playground, the beach and grocery store as well as other shops. We also loved the pool - the water was clean and perfect temperature, the sun beds are new and very comfortable and it was never crowded. The apartment itself is very spacious and there was Disney+ available which we discovered by accident as we do not watch TV, but could be great for some families. The apartment was also clean.

We stayed in another place for the same price the week before our stay, so we base our remarks on these two experiences. It doesn’t happen very often that we get disappointed by a place with 9.6 rating. However, there were several inconveniences - the main one, the beds are extremely squeaky. Not just a little, a lot. So it affected our sleep - it would wake us up during the night as we turned. Luckily, it did not wake our baby in the cot. One bedroom has blinds, but other bedroom/living room has only see-through curtains, so you don’t get much privacy or dark as another apartment windows/balconies are right across. Secondly, some kitchen dishes were dirty and the knives were sharp, but they bend a lot. Pots are also quite worn down but they work okay. Last but not least, the towels. Two of them were good quality/newer but the rest has seen better days. I don’t mind cheap brands but then they need to be replaced more frequently. I also want to add to previous comments about noise: you can hear cars from the road but that wasn’t a big hindrance. One night, there were loud/screaming neighbours until midnight or so, so we closed the balcony/windows and the rest of our stay it didn’t repeat. The light and the squeaky beds were our main issue. I also want to add that we do not expect 5* experience from this type of accommodation and we we spend most of the days outside of the apartment, but it would really be thoughtful to invest in a bit more quality cutlery/pots and beds/mattresses. I looked forward to the pool but was anxious about the night sleep. It’s possible the owner doesn’t know about these issues, so I hope this review will be an opportunity to check these things as the host seemed nice and caring in person.
