Porto Diakofti

I recently stayed at Porto Diakofti and absolutely loved it. The location couldn’t be better — just a few steps from the beautiful sandy beach of Diakofti, with crystal-clear water and a peaceful atmosphere. Waking up every morning to the view of the sea was truly amazing. The room was bright, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The balcony was the perfect spot for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

We stayed at Hotel Porto Diakofti this summer as a family, and I can genuinely say it was one of the most relaxing and pleasant holidays we’ve had in Greece. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff stood out. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay – whether it was offering suggestions on where to eat or helping us rent a car to explore the island. It felt less like a hotel and more like being hosted by friends. The rooms were spotless, airy, and well-kept, with a minimalist Cycladic design that matched the tranquil surroundings. We had a balcony with a sea view, and waking up to that turquoise water every morning was a dream. The kids loved being so close to the beach – it’s literally just a few steps away, with shallow, calm water perfect for swimming. What we appreciated most was the peaceful atmosphere of Diakofti itself. It’s not crowded or touristy, and that made our stay even more relaxing. If you’re after nightlife, this probably isn’t the place – but for quiet beach days, good food, and quality family time, it was ideal.

Breakfast was simple, but consistent and adequate

We had to wash clothes in the sink. If the hotel could have provided a laundry service or a guest laundry, our stay would have been enhanced.
