Pictures of property misleading. Says apartment when it’s a room only. Could hear voices etc from neighbouring rooms. No wardrobes. Too many codes to get through doors to get to room. Strong smell of turps in main hallway. About 4 miles out from Fort William town.

Good value for an overnight stay.

Easy check in/out and Room 3A where we stayed is modern. Fish and Chips shop next door for convenient for a feed.

The electric shower system doesn’t seem to flow fast enough, shower head holder that doesn’t lock into place, and the spring bed mattress.

Not my greatest stay.

Close to shops and town centres. Plenty of parking available. Fish and chip shop next door. Also a co-op beside apartments. Guess it’s ok place to stay for overnight if your plan is to go hiking next day would not suggest more that one day stay. WiFi was available.

- No pressure in shower took around 30 minutes to try and wash my shampoo out of my hair (hair is not overly long). - shower very slippy due to no option of shower mat. ( I almost slipped a couple of times trying to just wash my hair also trying to leave the shower requiring my having to call on my partner to help due to being no handles either for support). - When lying in bed I had put my hand down the side of the mattress where I could feel possibly old food. Photo attached. - Very loud outside and could hear others staying in the apartment. - the bed felt as it was uneven, felt that I was falling towards outside of bed. When I had lifted the mattress to check the bed slats there was an offal odour smelling like damp. - kettle was very slow boiling and considering this is the only thing available to make meals (unless going out for tea) I felt it would have been best to have a fast boiling kettle or possibly another option of shared microwave in the hall way of the 3 apartment that share apartment 3. I was also not aware that the room would be in a shared apartment with others. I knew it was room only but unaware that it would be one apartment. - 2x bath towels I noticed had yellow stains on the top of them. - also be advise there is no tv available in the room only.

Didn’t stay - didn’t feel safe….

Location was perfect for me and the reason for my visit to Fort William. Onsite parking was easy to get in and out of. It made transferring case from car to property effortless.

I felt exposed being on the ground floor with no window blinds. I had to shut the curtains and keep the overhead, shadeless light on. No spy-hole on the door left me with a blind spot. Other guests were very loud and intimidating. I didn’t feel safe so left before 9pm. The duvet was lumpy but I didn’t use the bed…

Bed comfortable and bathroom good. Spacious.

I think it’s in the process of being finished off and there were no bedside lamps for example and the outside area you see from the kitchen is a building site. However the few things we asked for (double duvet and bedding, blind for the small window) were provided promptly. It was more than adequate for our purposes for a couple of days.

Very nice apartment, spacious with 2 bedrooms, one with double and other with twin beds so that option was very useful. Two toilets/shower rooms. Kitchen fully equipped with spices etc plus tea and coffee in cupboards. Everything provided for including toaster. Very quite and scenic location with convenience store just yards away. Excellent place.

One minor quibble - one of the locks on the toilet door was not working properly (didn't lock), just needs adjustment to fit by looks of it.

No fridge no tv nowhere to put your clothes coffee station that was a dressing table with kettle on it no coffee sachets but a teaspoon of coffee in bottom of a used jar couple of cups which needed cleaned before use same as teaspoon out of date biscuits, tea station which was a plastic insert out of a fridge or freezer no lampshade in room just a bare light bulb cheap towels nylon sheets the name the name lochaber apartments totally misleading a room with a bed in it .bathroom electric shower no thermostat to set temperature just sheer luck either too hot or too cold motion sensor in bathroom worked only if u were using shower ? Light went out if using toilet.location right in front of carpark cars parking could see right into accommodation very little privacy constant cars due to chipshop on one side and co op on other . Only interaction i had with manager of property was when i arrived contacted him to locate keys and he was abrupt and rude as i drove from glasgow at 3pm an email was sent at 3.20pm with relevant details for property guess i should have checked my emails when driving as not to contact manager for anything at all.... Didnt realise u could upload photos never actually filled in one of these b4 never felt the need to .i travel a lot use booking dot com alot felt i had too felt compelled to do so so other travellers could avoid the place... Been in better hostels From start to finish never again.

It smelt sooooo bad. It was in a awful area. It was noisy. It did not feel like we were anywhere near Fort William. Really wish I read the reviews before booking. Nothing like the pictures. Felt unsafe.

Property was reasonably close for our hiking activities next to coop store

The rear garden to our property was in a terrible state,was piles of rubble and unfinished building work with drainage works not completed.It was a dangerous place and spoilt the property.

Very disappointing and dirty property

property in general was below standard with regards to cleanliness and building materials and container was delivered at 6am causing excess noise. Bedsheets and cooking and serving facilities had to be cleaned prior to use.

No closet. No socket in the bathroom. No toilet brush. Pretty dirty floor to get to the room. Main door was always open day and night.

Only positive thing is that the bathroom looked nice.

The room felt dull, cold and lifeless. The bed felt like lying directly on the firm springs. It was noisy and uncomfortable. We didn’t feel like we had any privacy either, because of the parking lot right outside of the window, with people walking right by the window. To enjoy the Mountain View, you would have to ignore the mentioned parking lot. All of this, after booking the ‘premium’ room.

OK but don't expect much.

The room size was OK and beds were comfortable. Location was also OK and had some local walks as well as being quite close to Fort William. Bathroom OK and shower worked well.

First impressions of the accommodation were a little puzzling. We later found out the building used to be a pub that had been converted. We also had to wait in the car as the hotel hadn't sent the key code or accommodation details. That meant phoning them ( came up on phone as Cafe 115, so must have another business as well). Upon trying to enter the building we found the outer door hadn't been fitted correctly and was open constantly. The inner door was the same and was also not fitted correctly. To say these are supposed to be fire doors does seem a bit of a safety issue. The view from the window was pretty bad. It was like a mini building site but looked to have been like it for some time.

Property that suits a short stay as long as you plan to spend most of time exploring elsewhere.

Located well for access to a fish and chip shop and a Co-op. Good parking right outside and good views of the mountains.

Property was lacking finishing touches and was quite spartan. It had no where to hand anything up even a hook on the back of the door. There was one very small set of drawers but otherwise had to use the floor and keep items in the bag. One chair and no table so had to eat in bed. The bulb in the bedroom was even lacking a lampshade.

Clean and comfortable. Very basic accommodation. Great for just an overnight stay but not for more than one night. The best thing was it was right next door to a fish & chip shop which was great. There are no hosts on site but check in was very easy as I was sent instructions and a code.

It would have been nice to have a TV and wi-fi for the property which I didn't check before I booked as this is usually standard in all accommodation. Was in a bit of a dodgy part of town so if a young female travelling alone I would not recommend staying here. You need your own transport to get here as it is situated in the middle of a suburb and private housing and within a light industrial area surrounded by businesses. The property is going through renovations and there was building materials etc in the hallway of the property.

A working progress

Bed and sofa bed very comfortable...kitchen nice and modern. Night time was nice and quiet. Had towels and a hairdryer :) There was some washing up liquid, hand wash, and body wash which was good.

The place is like it is still under construction and not quite finished. There was a dust in the air, like builders had been in. The doors were dusty to touch and haven't been painted. View out the back was to a dump site. Plates were wet or still dirty. The toilet was not clean. No place to hang clothes. The decor in the bedroom was very mish-mash like things had been donated and didn't match. The place didn't seem safe, all doors, including the ones in the main /shared corridors seem thin and like you could just knock them down or were unlocked. Smart TV has all the apps but no TV aerial so you can't watch terrestrial TV.

Clean, quiet, newly decorated, comfortable, extra toiletries and supplies, lighting, privacy, near lovely beach, quiet area. Owner quickly replied and followed up about checking in and misunderstanding re facilities. Owener said he may purchase small fridge for the room.

Booking.com website makes it appear that we were renting private room and bath WTH SHARED KITCHEN because first photo on website shows the shared kitchen area. Totally misleading and needs to spell out - SHARED KITCHEN AREA IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS RENTAL!

Perfect for a group trip

The location was perfect. We were climbing Ben Nevis, and it was about a 5-10 minute drive away. You are also right next to a co-op. The property was clean, tastefully decorated, and definitely had enough room for our party of 6.

Disappointement in Coal

The beds were confortable. The shower room is ok.

The view from the bedroom, it was overlooking the seavage of the house that had been dug out to change pipes.. Loads of stuff waiting to be thrown away . . . Just one chair for two, no table, no cupboard or coat hangers. The towels were not spotless. Some plugs don't work properly. Noisy neighbourgs that thought they were alone, even when I spoke to them at 9 pm. They very loud and played music after 11 pm. The room we had is the twin room shown on the photos of the site. Instructions by message and keybox, we saw no one.

Directions to apartment were not clear and received at last minute. Postcode took us to wrong place. If told at Co-Op would have been easier. Nowhere to hang coats etc. Only one bedside table when room for 2. Expensive for what we got.
