Casa das Lérias

Very comfortable and beautiful room with a nice balcony. The room and the bathroom feel small but really pleasant, so it's not an issue. The breakfast area is really nice and the food is good! The swimming pool area is also great with a really nice view to the river. Great location in the city center which is really cute!

The staff was okay but not particularly friendly. It could have been an exception, but this was our experience during our one-night stay. There was one particular situation where one staff member told us we could stay by the pool after check-out, while another person later told us, “If someone told you you could, then you can,” in a somewhat annoyed tone, which felt uncomfortable to us. I’m not sure what the actual policy was, but it might be something worth clarifying with the staff. There could be more shaded chairs by the pool in the garden.

Breakfast was spot on. Staff a lovely. Place lovely & clean.

Pool bar was never opened when we were there, not a big problem, but would have been nice.

Beds were super comfortable! Tasty breakfast. Great location. Clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa das Lérias, Amarante. We appreciated the clean room, comfortable bed and beautiful view of the river. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is very well situated and within walking distance to the famous bridge, shops and restaurants.
