Crown Cottage

Very comfortable and well thought out property. Parking was next to the house and a walkable distance from Tenby town. Pub at the front and back of the property.

The en-suite shower was very unpleasant and dangerous due to lack of temperature control

Lovely cottage, plenty of parking space and a great location for exploring. Very close to the beach and for access to the coastal path. Penally train station is close by which was very handy for doing one way walks along the coast. Lovely house, well equipped and very comfy.

the location was for us was a little out of the way. Nothing really in Penally. It was quite a walk down to the beach, which was nice once you got there., Lots of shells, which I collect. We are in our late 70's and although fairly fit found it just a bit too far to walk into Tenby. There was a good bus service which we used rather than try to park. We did drive in and went to Sainsburys before going to the property, which was just as well because no shops in Penally. Parking in Tenby quite difficult. The Pub close to the house was very good. Nice atmostphere and good food. although you do need to book to eat.

did not like either the bedding or the towels at the property. Towels were dark grey, old and not very nice. Need replacing. Also bedding very thin Polyester/Cotton mix. I actually went out and bought a Cotton top sheet and cotton pillow cases at Tesco at Pembroke dock. Inexpensive and a big improvement. Only one tea towel, although I had taken some of my own.

The location was good with access to the beach, station and bus stop. Good base for travelling round the area and a good pub over the road for meals. Best to book. There is a parking spot round the back.

The ensuite was small so not ideal for a larger person. Also no safety mat in the bath.
