Limehome Dresden Wallstraße - Digital Access

First off! I did not receive any email from the company which was supposed to be pertinent as it was supposed to give me the passcode to the building! When we arrived, no one was there to receive us nor could we go inside the property at all! We wasted so much time emailing back & forth, and it was only through a kindhearted lady who lives in the same building who allowed me to tag along with her so I could get the property hotline number! After so much back & forth, with the property sending me the email only after I complained were we able to reply to the email for confirmation, we finally were able to enter the property. Second, the unit was on the 4th floor & the elevator was not working! So we had to lug all our suitcases 4 flights up the stairs! We were also not informed about this! We wasted so much time just figuring out how to check into the building that we were not able to even go around the city anymore as all the stores were closing soon at 7pm. 😫 Third, since we stayed only overnight & wasted so much time during check in, we finally were able to walk around at 6pm already, & had to check out 11am the following day.. we decided to go around the city the whole day the ff day. There was no storage area to leave our luggage & the property (all of these convo via email, they didn’t even bother to call) suggested for us to store our luggage with this company, Bounce - of course for an addtl fee - BUT gave us the runaround! After paying the fees, they gave us the qr code & directions to the storage unit only to find out that it was closed! Again- no calls and no advise that the store would be closed! We waited two hours looking for the spot, going back & forth thinking at first, we got the address wrong. When we got in touch with Bounce, they gave us another storage center, which was farther - Damascus Center- & we walked all the way with our suitcases, only to be treated harshly and shoved away by the staff managing the center! They claimed that they know nothing about any storage area and have never heard of such! We kept taking pictures and all throughout were talking and coordinating with the Bounce hotline who kept saying it was the correct spot but the people manning the place kept shooing us away. 🫩😣😣😣😣 it was a total disaster and we ended up wasting our whole morning till after lunch just finding a storage place! LESSON! - just book with a hotel! Ibis is centrally located, well known and can easily take in luggage you will be leaving for the day in case you need to check out already and have errands or tours to join. Most of all, there’s a human being to assist you, not a chatbot with no empathy. This property did not come cheap at all, the cab driver from the train station could not find the place at first and was getting irritated & impatient already until she finally found it. But we still wasted more than 2 hours since the property did not send the email to me (not even in spam) to do the check in online which was apparently required before they would send another email containing the password to the building. Our previous stays in airbnbs in Florence and Como had actual people emailing us regarding arrangements for check in and had sent actual people to meet us to give us the keys and give instructions on our arrival dates. Talk about service! No advise on broken elevator No advise on storage Dresden was lovely but ruined by the stay in this unit. Stay away if you dont wish to ruin your holiday.

it has beautiful room and It was nice to have a clear explanation of the check-in process. Even though it was an unmanned check-in, I was able to do it without any trouble. There’s also a large mall nearby, so it’s a very convenient location.

It’s sad that this great located studio has caused us so much trouble. Booking this property through Agoda is a big struggle. We requested parking in the booking, but this request isn’t read by the property. Then we were suppose to get a confirmation with a link to check-in which we never received. On the day of check-in I could only email the property and they responded way too late and then you have to do all kinds of admin to get the code to the place. And that’s when you find out there’s no actual parking which you really need in this area. The communication with this property continued through WhatsApp but they respond hours later or just not. We ended up entering the property hours after we planned to enter because of this bad communication. When this happens, it doesn’t matter how nice the place is cause it starts with wrong feelings. The place itself doesn’t have a microwave and the walls and balcony are dirty. Wouldn’t book this place again.

No staff here. Good location. Kitchen area adds value. Shopping very near by.
