The room, landscaping & pool area was immaculate. It looked just like the pictures & was beachfront. close walk to restaurants & stores. Elizabeth was a great host, very welcoming & helpful. This is the only place I will stay in Santa Marianita.

The best part of this stay was the wonderful host letting us know about local activities and willing to answer questions. There are several English speaking folks in town that are very friendly. The beach is beautiful and not crowded during the week. If you love seafood, there are plenty of options that are very reasonably priced. We visited during the season and saw whales from the beach. This is definitely a place for a quiet, low-key vacation. I would highly recommend staying at Beso del Sol.
Although the location is beautiful, some restaurants close earlier than you might think and shopping is limited to a few small stores that only carry the bare basics. Manta is a quicker 20-25 minute drive and there are plenty of shopping with a nice mall. We did out grocery shopping early so we had what we needed without having to make several trips into Manta.
