    Bedrooms were accessible from a single corridor which led to a fire escape, this door was left wedged open all night, as was the internal fire door I assume to try to dissipate the heat from the first floor bedrooms.the fire escape led to the ground floor car park which is open to the public. Reception is not staffed between 10pm and 10 am.

    My mum stayed here during a recent trip to Ely and highly recommends it. She said it was very reasonable, clean, quiet, and incredibly close to the centre - about five minutes walk to the Cathedral. The staff were lovely - I can confirm as I called them to check on something - and the restaurant/bar is very clean and modern.

    All the rooms are above a quirky pub & coffee shop. The staff are particularly friendly & go out of their way way to help. Breakfast is not served until 10.00am..

    The property offers convenient access to shopping and fairly good one to transport, though station needs a taxi ride. Cleanliness was satisfactory though there were some parts lacking Staff were reasonable, but perhaps lacking in customer service, this could be the fact that there were not' English spoken as first language group' The stairs to the rooms were narrow and quite steep. Overall a decent stay, with some areas that could be improved for a better experience
