Location, friendly staff, breakfast incl goodie bag when leaving at night

Groundfloor rooms noisy in the early morning as most people leave for colca canyon

Quite area but only few minutes walk from main square. Very clean and comfortable, nice terrace and good breakfast. Staff is very welcoming and lovely 😊

I had the best time staying at Hostal Virreinal. I was here for 4 nights and it was so far my favourite accommodation in Peru. The owner of the hotel was so amazing, welcoming and friendly! They really want you to feel good and welcomed there. :) My room was clean and I had a mountain view from my window. The shower was the best I had so far in Peru! The water gets warm quite quickly. I really liked the location of the hotel as well. It is located in a small and quite street and you can walk to the city center in like 5minutes. Honestly I’m so glad I stayed there and definitely recommend it.

I have nothing to complain about this accomodation.

The bird paintings, the quiet location, and the 2nd floor room. Gleysy, the woman working there, was kind, professional and wonderful to work with.

Note to the owner: The reception smelled, the couches were stained, the windows on the balcony were cloudy and obscured the view. The male attendant, Jack, lied to me to regarding a phone conversation with a tour guide. He suggested we talk in my room twice. Solo female travelers should work with Gleysy.
