Stunning, spacious duplex, with terrace, views and tout confort, just a stroll away from Hauterives

Marie and Alex were kind enough to accommodate my late arrival; offered a warm welcome to their wonderful gîte, where I would happily live year-round: on the ground floor, there's a fantastically furnished, spacious living room and dining kitchen with a wood-burner, access to the private entry terrace with open countryside views over Hauterives and the valley, and plenty of room and facilities for everything you might need. Up the original wooden staircase, there's a really big bedroom, with a large double bed and a single, and a perfectly clean bathroom with shower. The next morning, Marie called me to check everything was OK and allowed me to leave my car there all morning, while I visited the Palais Ideal de Facteur Cheval (a really-must-see!) They even have a really sweet collie who says 'Salut !'.

In all honesty, there's not a single thing I didn't like. If only every gîte in France were as wonderful as Marie and Alex's home... ;-)

Perfect!

The host came to Greet us when we arrived and it didnt matter that we were a bit too early. The place was clean and beautifull and a perfect stop for a few days on our rode tot Marseille and spain. The host made sure we had everything we needed and checked for that. The pool was amazing and the view and garden as well. The only thing missing was the bbq or oven from the pictures (not available) but it didnt matter. The stay was great!

Great stay!

It feels like paradise. I booked because I needed somewhere I could work for the day whilst the family could also enjoy the surroundings. It was perfect. WiFi was great and family enjoyed the pool.

So great location and very peaceful. House owners are very kind and showed big hospitality. All facilities in house are perfect and so cleaned. Compared quality, price is cheap. If more expensive, we will back to here again!

I would be so happy to stay here again and we hope we can return in the future.

Alex and Marie were lovely hosts, so friendly and helpful. The apartment was perfect, very spacious and clean and with beautiful views over the rolling hills and down to Hauterives. It was also totally peaceful as it was away from the town but still very close if you wished to dine out or go to the village for any other reason. There was free wifi available and ample free parking on the property.

There was nothing that we didn't like and nothing to improve.

Great holidays

Everything was great and beautiful, amazing place to spend the quite time, amazing view and amazing silence, amazing Milky Way visible at night, the owners very nice and helpful, welcomed us late at night because of the problems with my arrival, very friendly welcome.

Exceptional

We had a fantastic stay! The view is great, the swimming pool refreshing, the house is clean (and cool inside!), and the hosts are really nice and always happy to help. The village is close (15min waking) and the surroundings are beautiful (there is also a river close where you can swim) -We will certainly come back!

Amazing stay

We had a very nice stay here. The view from the apartment is beautiful, quite area and you can walk towards Hauterives in 15 min. The house is very clean and with any questions the hosts were more than happy to help you!

De belles journée dans ce gîte accueillant et bien décoré

L'environnement des collines, la vue depuis les baies vitrées, le confort du gîte, les accessoires de cuisine mis à disposition ( éponge, torchon, produit vaisselle etc), la proximité avec Hauterives, les sourires de notre hote à l'arrivée. C'était presque parfait: un porte manteau derrière la porte de la SDB serait pratique. En période plus chaude la terrasse avec banquettes..., le piscine avec vue sur le paysage...doivent être très agréables. J'étais avec ma petite fille, 12 ans, et nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. À refaire.

Sehr schön.

Das Haus und die kleine Wohnung sind sehr schön. Auch Ende September konnte der Pool noch benutzt werden, da er abgedeckt ist. Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort, bei schönerem Wetter hätten wir gerne noch verlängert.

Die Unterkunft liegt abseits von Hauterives. Hinlaufen ist etwas weit und steil.

L ,accueil ,le calme du lieu ,la magnifique vue..le confort moderne du gîte,très bien équipé avec une cuisine très fonctionnelle Rien ne manque..la disponibilité des hôtes sollicités plusieurs fois au tel ,patients et de bon conseil.

Malheureusement,reservation trop rapide et ne correspond pas très bien pour une personne du groupe handicapée ,salle d'eau et toilette dans la chambre à l'étage!!! Bien passé quand même. !

Lekker even uit de drukte

Een prachtig uitzicht vanaf je terras en vanuit het zwembad. De eigenaars zijn zeer vriendelijk en het zwembad is echt een prima plek om even af te koelen. De keuken is goed ingericht met voldoende pannen en een grote koelkast.

Une vue magnifique à deux pas du Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval

Nous avons tout aimé ! Nous venions pour découvrir la Drôme des collines et le Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval. Le gîte est parfaitement situé pour cela, et offre une vue magnifique sur les collines et au-delà les Baronnies et le Mont Ventoux, depuis le gîte lui-même et depuis la piscine. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par les propriétaires, très prévenants durant notre séjour de 2 jours. Le gite offre un excellent confort et permet de garder la fraicheur même lors de fortes chaleurs (36-38°C lors de notre séjour).

Schön gelegenes Gites mit sehr netter Gastgeberfamilie

Das Gites liegt idyllisch auf einem Hügel oberhalb von Hauterives. Es ist sehr gut und geschmackvoll ausgestattet. An alles ist gedacht. Der Pool ist "das Sahnehäubchen". Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich schnell als Teil der Hausgemeinschaft. Sehr schönes und großzügiges Gelände mit vielen Bäumen und Pflanzen. Alles hat einen sehr guten Eindruck bei uns hinterlassen.

Keinerlei Kritik. Bei heißen Temperaturen könnte es im Schlafzimmer (1.OG) ohne Klimaanlage möglicherweise etwas warm werden.

Hartelijke ontvangst en heerlijk rustig!

Super vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw en fijn dat je ook zwemmen kunt. Heerlijk rustig op dit adres Alles erg schoon Er worden allerlei chambre d’hôtes beneden in het dorp aangeraden, maar die waren al volgeboekt toen wij zochten. En gelukkig maar In alle rust met een prachtig uitzicht genieten is beter dan langs een drukke weg Je moet natuurlijk zelf voor je ontbijt zorgen omdat het een gite is. Je kunt natuurlijk ook in het dorp gaan ontbijten maar er is een Intermarché waar van alles te koop is
