The location was fine but we had not realised that the resort closed at the end of the month of August. The owner told us about the supermarket and a lovely restaurant which was open for the first two days we were there. The "cyclists" bar was open every day which was very lucky. We tended to go down to Bourg d'Oisans during the day as shops, restaurants were open. The apartment was very nice and very clean and had a good dishwasher which we used two or three times. Great TV on wall which also had a projector. he owner sent us an email with lots of information a few days before our arrival. I missed it to begin with and he had explained about closures. I think it would have been too late to cancel as payment made however we enjoyed our time there and stayed an extra night.

If the resort had been open but we didn't know 90% of L'Alpe d'Huez closed end August. Not sure if Booking can remove the swimming pool option for preferences depending on the time of the year. The only thing about the apartment was the two single beds. We pushed them together after the first night.

Alles was aanwezig en praktisch .Vriendelijke en behulpzame host. Beneden was een restaurant met vriendelijk personeel… zelfs 3x gaan eten.
