Once in a while on a trip, all the stars align. Alishan is a magical area to begin with, and the magic can only be best discovered by staying with a warm host from the area. This place is exceptional from the house itself, the artistic and literary flair, and most of all the whole family behind it. They are the warmest, most genuine, and most interesting hosts who can enrich your experience and give you a real understanding of the region. Spotless and comfortable, with lavish home cooked meals, it’s a 10/10.

The host provided lots of information for things around his accommodation and generally spoken really kind and helpful.
It was a little pricy, but during cherry blossom season it might be more reasonable.

The employees are nice and there is a walking trail nearby.
The cost is very high for what it is. The food was okay but we got served something very similar for dinner and breakfast (roast chicken). It’s not super easy to access without a car.
