Ferienwohnung Schwarzwald Schlössle

The apartment was OK. We were one of the first to book it after its new decoration (as a castle) so, we had issues. For example,there was no folder in the apartment to give us basic information such as how to sort and collect waste, how to access (and book) the sauna, how the tv worked ( no channel in French, only news channels in English), how to take public transportation etc. We don't speak German (French, English, Dutch only) and the tourist info was closed most of our time, so having the basics info would have helped us a lot! All the websites and info in the building, many rules by the way, are only in German. I was not a big fan of the castle theme (it was a classic apartment when we rented it) and it seems we lacked many basic furniture therefore.We stayed 5 days and had nothing to put our clothes, except a few hooks behind the door. We let our clothes in our bags in front of the fake chimney,it's not comfortable. There was also nothing to dry our swimming items. Putting one on the wall, in the bath would help or something on the terrace? We sent a list to our contact person. The kitchen is small, which we knew about, but it was hard to cook vegetables+meat+potatoes with 2 cooking plates and without being able to use the oven because there was no oven plate. We spent our evenings playing our boardgames in the bed or sofa because the chairs were really uncomfortable, even with cushions! We enjoyed the swimming pool every day and it was easy to park our car (out of season). It's a great place to walk! There is a nice small supermarket,easy to reach by foot. We also used the selling machine to buy meat a bit further in the village. It was great to walk from the apartment. We even enjoyed a bit the terrace, in February.

I found it weird that we were asked to leave 20€ on the table to pay our tourist tax after our booking (seems a weird way to pay that). We read that the tourist tax granted us a card with free entries to the Triberg Waterfall and trips with public transportation but we never got this card while I have explicitly asked for it. We ended up paying for those activities and no one talked to us about that tourist tax anymore so we guessed it was changed. It's also strange that one person seems to manage the booking reservation and another one is the contact person. We also didn't know which language to use with them. I was not aware the contact person was unavailable by the first one...She finally answered (family emergency, I totally get it) and didn't say she was not available anymore. I went on contacting her with no answer in the end, so maybe she was unavailable again but I didn't know. We had no specific instruction about leaving the apartment so nothing about that presumed tax, collecting waste or anything else. On a safety side, both smoke sensors were missing (but their bases were on the ceiling) and some screws from the decoration were not tight enough and moved so don't let a kid put their fingers everywhere.

Petit studio adorable avec kitchenette dans le couloir. Belle décoration moderne. Tout le confort nécessaire avec des petites attentions de la part de Marie. Belle grande terrasse avec jolie vue sur le village. Le complexe de loisirs dans l'immeuble est top : belle piscine chauffée, sauna, salle de sport, salle de jeux. De belles randonnées a faire dans le coin. Nous avons eu la neige et un peu de soleil. Nous reviendrons aux beaux jours.

Il faudrait juste rajouter 2 saladiers et un décapsuleur.

Die Lage war toll! Der Balkon und der Blick waren auch ausgezeichnet. Das Bett war auch gut.

Die Jalousie war kaputt und wir konnten sie nicht herunterziehen. Ab 5 Uhr war es ganz hell. Es gab auch kein Shampoo... Eine Mikrowelle, kleine Tassen und neue Messer wären auch toll gewesen.
