I liked the spacious room and the great shower. The view of the bay from the room was fabulous! And having access to the pier and the cable car was an added bonus!
I was a bit irritated by three things. First, upon arrival after a long voyage, there was not even a single bar of soap to take a shower with. I found that very strange. Second, also upon arrival, as soon as I opened the door, I was greeted by an intense chemical smell of a cleaning product or products that had been used in the room. Even after opening the window and keeping it open for a while, the smell barely dissipated. In fact it persisted, albeit to a lesser extent, for the next couple of days. I do not think it was healthy to sleep in that room with those chemical fumes. Finally, during my stay, there were only 2 elevatiors in service for a building with approximately 25 floors. It was frustrating at times to wait for the elevator.
