Cottage on Gray - Wangaratta

Gorgeous little property with little extras that make all the difference between a good property and a GREAT property. Just was super responsive which facilitated a smooth last minute booking. Couldn’t recommend anywhere better.

Picking up the keys was super easy from a lockbox at eye level. The property was full of charm, well appointed and beds were super comfy. Garden was well looked after. The bottle of wine, and food for breakfast was a welcome surprise, Lovely quiet street and a great place to stay.

The house was close to a walking track and very quiet at night.

A little chilly with only the one heater in the living room. Some days it didn't quite keep up with the chill outside. Nobo heaters in the bedrooms helped ward off the chill in the air.

The beds were comfortable

The days there were 33°C and the airconditioner was decommissioned. It would have been kind to have been told. The couches were too close to the floor. Almost impossible to get out of. My Mother would is 95 years old couldn't sit on them. Again the host who knew her age, should have told us if this. My dog when let out, became covered in seeds from plants both out the back and in the front yards. I removed at least 100 with help from a friend. As it's supposed to be dog friendly this issue needs to be addressed. The sandwich maker was dirty with with oil underneath as were the higher pantry shelves. The location was good, but I suggest the hosts spend a few days in there using everything including the dinning room chairs.
