Sunny Oporto, Douro Apartments

Nice location. Overall comfortable apartment. The communication with the host was very pleasant and timely.

There is some light pollution from a big street lamp outside. Even with the blinds it never gets fully dark in the apartment.

Location was really central, the host had a bottle of wine for us on arrival, which was really thoughtful. The apartment was comfy for 2 people. The apartment was smelling beautifully (freshly washed linens) when we entered.

There is no sound proofing. Unfortunately there was another group of visitors in another apartment above us and we would wake up every time the main door or their apartment door would open. Also, the bathroom door does not properly shut off the noise coming from it.

A beautiful 10/10 apartment which had every amenity you could ever wish for. Board games, excellent WiFi, a tablet, plenty of bedding and a choice of pillows- all smack bang in the middle of Porto. Very attentive hosts who give clear instructions and offer any services you may require. A really good stay.

Not a criticism, as it was clean, but it could do with some decorating touch ups by the window. They’ve had so much rain recently I suspect it has caused a little damp under the windowsill.

The apartment was spacious, very comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you could need. I was warmly welcomed with a bottle of wine, towels, bathrobes, extra blankets, and heaters, which are especially helpful in winter. The self-check-in was very easy and convenient, and I was also able to arrange a late check-out, which I really appreciated. The host, José, was incredibly helpful and kind, always available and happy to assist. On top of that, the location is excellent, close to everything, and perfect for exploring Porto. A truly perfect stay and outstanding value for the quality and comfort offered. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto.
