⚠️Don't stay here!⚠️

Just location

This was honestly one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. The electricity went out every single night and for hours during the day, leaving us in unbearable 35°C heat with no AC. The shower only had hot water for one person and only when there was power. The apartment was missing even the most basic necessities — no soap, no lighter for the stove, hardly any utensils — we had to buy almost everything ourselves. The beds were awful, you could feel every spring, and it was nearly impossible to sleep. The staff were unhelpful, barely spoke English, and refused to take responsibility for anything. The only positive was the pool and being close to the beach, but that is nowhere near enough to make up for the nightmare we went through. Absolutely not recommended.

Overall disappointing

There were some major problems with our stay. The first one was with breakfast. It was supposed to be included in the price but when we got there it wasn’t even in the offer anymore therefore I believe we overpaid. The second thing was with parking. The parking spots are not clearly defined. They said that there were three possible spots for us to park and we parked on one of them and then received letters on our car that we are not supposed to park there. The other things that were not clear were about the 100€ deposit that had to be left at the reception and they asked us to clean the room ourselves even tho we prepaid for cleaning 70€ when we booked the apartment. Overall it was disappointing because of their system.

Beware cash deposit, unwilling to accept credit cards

Proximity to beach, parco junior. Breakfast was good, a lot of playgrounds for kids.

Horrible staff. Wanted to pay damage deposit by credit card and they told me if I didn’t give them 100 eur in cash they would not check me in and then also threatened me with cancelling my booking. Very unconvenient and rude. I’ve traveled a lot and have no problem paying damage deposit for a car, hotel etc. anywhere through the credit card. This does not cost merchant anything as it is essentially just a charge hold, no actual money gets exchanged. The lady at the desk was unwilling to do that and then in the end she demanded I pay them $5 for “transaction costs”, which I reluctantly did, just so they would not cancel the reservation on me. Not the best experience and total lack of flexibility and bad customer service. Otherwise the stay was good, but this left a bad impression.

Great family stay – perfect location and friendly staff 😊

Heated pool in the camp was a very pleasant surprise – our kids (6 and 8 years old) absolutely loved it + delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options . Easy access to the beach (about 500m) 🏖️, and the property even had its own beach area with reserved sunbeds – totally stress-free! Super friendly and helpful staff at the reception and the breakfast café. The location next to the campsite was lovely 🌿 – we really enjoyed taking relaxing walks there.

The property was undergoing some renovations 🛠️, so the parking area wasn’t fully finished and a bit muddy in spots. But it wasn’t a big issue for us.

I think ownership should invest money to update the bungalows and services. It’s all really old fashioned, but the price

The “bungalow” was built in 1972 and so it remained. Very poor for the money paid, no sofa, very little bathroom and you are supposed to clean it before leaving. 1972 vacation style, 2023 price

Pleasant resort

The accommodation was in a pleasant environment surrounded by trees and grass. There were also climbing frames and a swimming pool, which makes it a great area for children, but other leisure activities such as tennis and the like make it an experience for adults as well.

I didn't like the management's attitude. They changed the conditions during the reservation and no one let us know about it. I only found out at the reception when I was checking in for my stay.

great option for a summer holiday with the family

you should not come there before June 1 - it is still very cold in the rooms. This is primarily a summer location. nowhere is it stated that you have to leave 100 euros in cash as a deposit upon check-in. This is uncomfortable.

Very good

We liked that the property was pretty quiet compare to other camps we visited before.

The only thing we didnt like was that our bungalow did not have full walls inside. Once the kids went to sleep we did not want to keep the lights on or watch TV because we did not want to disturb them. This was the only disadvantage.

bungalows in old style outdated. Price was high in comparison with hotels… in hotels they are cleaning and changing towels…..not here without paying extra. bicycles was extra on cost…normalt free on the hotels

Parking space. Friendlienyness of the personell, super market very near. Good pizzery for takeaway quite nearby. Junior park also not far as a lovely idea for the kids

End cleaning is something out of the date for todays european standards, worth of price has been better other places (150 euros per night for 2 persons) spiders can spot practically everyywhere due tue not fully closed bacony, Kitchen equipment is fairly something out from the 80s

Worn and dark facility, needs renovation

Lid Nidos is placed close to the beach.

The appartment was very dark, worn out and very sparingly equipped. The walls between room are not fully up to the ceilings. The bed was short with a madras and a pillow hard as stone, we did not have a decent night of sleep in these beds. Using the blankets available our kids got marks after bed bugs bites. The terrace was equipped with two plastic chairs and an old wooden bench, where the screw heads was sticking out of the wood making it uncomfortable to sit on. All in all we were very disappointed with the apartment we rented, and did not feel that this was accordingly to the advertisement material we saw on the homepage, when booking. We decided to shorten our stay at Los Nidos with four days, we had booked for nine days. We made this decision already the day after arrival. We asked at the reception if it was possible to cancel the last four days and to get our money back for these days. That was not an option but they offered that we could get an apartment in their apartment hotel for the last 6 days of our stay. We did not accept this offer, but decided to leave the resort four days before our reservation expired. Based on our experience we will not recommend Villagio Los Nidos.

We did not avail the breakfast, the location was not really good, it’s far from the promenade.

The apartment need a renovation and maybe a screen(Gitter) for windows, because you can’t open the windows and door,for a long time, lot’s of mosquitos🤨

Superb

Great for a holiday with little children! There is a nice playground and a little play room. The pool was warm enough for our little one (2) and big enough for our older child (4), including a little slide. We bought breakfast a la carte in the hotel bar, which was good value. There is a supermarket just on the other side of the street and a bakery nearby. The beach was just a short walk away, the center of Lignano, though, a bit too far to walk with little children (but no problem for adults). But you can rent a cargo bike at the hotel, which our children enjoyed a lot. Parco Junior and several restaurants are nearby. As perfect as a holiday with little children can be!

-There is no soap or dishwashing liquid at the bungalow. -Due to the barbecue on the balcony the floor inside the flat was always dirty and our feel were rather black all the time. -Swimming caps must be worn at the pool due to Covid, like everywhere else in Italy.

Pool closed everyday in the afternoon for 2 hours. This really bothered me because it was the best/hottest part of the day and we were told to leave the pool.

Without this troubles to need to change the room, I would have given 9Points to our stay.

The first room given was very old and the fall out protection of the child bed was too high, so that our child could fall out! After claiming, we where given a new nice room with a safe childrens bed without any big discussion. The new room totally fullfilled our expectations.

The location was awesome, but everything is overpriced.

Payed too much for the poor facilities they offer. Next time i will be camping with my own stuff, it is the same thing. I had to ask the receptionist for the grill place fir fire, because the grill was empty. 16 eur fir two places with umbrela for a day, was too much, but also already the price reduced. So they say. Anyway. Never again. The shower was every 10 seconds the heat changing from frozen to boiled. I had 2 toddlers with me. It was such an adventure to bath them with boiled water or frozen.

Fijne familievakantie!

Wij hebben in september drie weken doorgebracht op dit park in de classic bungalow. Het was erg rustig op het park, het hoogseizoen was duidelijk al voorbij. - De bungalow is prima. Geen luxe, maar alles wat je nodig hebt, behalve een vaatwasser. Prima bedden. - Het zwembad is groot en fijn, maar er is maar één glijbaan, dus voor kinderen iets minder te doen. Wel veel ruimte om lekker op het gras of op een bedje te liggen. - Supermarkt ligt aan de overkant van de straat en het strand bereik je ook binnen 5 minuten. - Personeel is super meedenkend en aardig. - Aantal restaurantjes heel dichtbij het park.

- Er was geen vaatwasser in de bungalow. - Er waren geen Nederlanders op het park maar alleen maar Duitsers en Polen, dat vonden wij jammer. - Het ligt wat ver van het échte centrum van Lignano, dat is toch wel een kwartier lopen.
