Burry Port Harbour Apartment

It’s very close to the beach which is lovely! We were there for just two days so didn’t see much of Burry Port due to the rainy weather but the apartment is convenient for all the amenities in the area. The beds were very comfy and the shower had good water pressure. The whole place is very smart and well looked after. The host was very helpful and we had everything we needed.

I’d have to nitpick but the cutlery and plates weren’t very clean when we got there, so we had to wash them before use, I think previous people just hadn’t washed up properly.

Location was gr8 for going out on bike

Little things needed attention eg. Tap loose in kitchen ,garage could of been better old matress x2 removed,bathroom cupboard door needs attention, on 1st arrival smell of drains but soon disappeared.

Nice flat, decent sized rooms, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, helpful host, convenient for public transport, all clean and tidy.

A bit of minor maintenance needed here and there - e.g. bath plug mechanism not working.

Good location and the bonus of having storage for our bikes, would definitely stay again

Property was wonderful, spacious, modern, and comfortable. Good location in Burry Port within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Host was very friendly and helpful and communication was great. I would stay here again!

Great location lots of walks from the door on the beach in 5 mins my dog loved it. There are shops and pubs and places to eat within walking distance it was great to leave the car on the drive ...THE apartment was nice and cosy on a cold winters day arrival...it had everything you needed and i would return.

Really nice quiet location. Lots of space and comfortable. Well decorated (although perhaps needed a little lick of paint). Plenty of storage if we were staying longer. Good communication and host kindly put non feather bedding on the bed for me.

Heating was a bit hit or miss (really hot or not on at all as don't think the thermostate worked well) and couldn't use the bath as the plug didn't work.

Lovely apartment. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Walking distance to beach and coop. Good Internet and large TV.

The apartment felt neglected. It wasn't very clean, light bulbs missing, etc. I'd recommend bringing your own kitchen utensils, loo roll, tea towels.

Excellent location right on Burry Port Harbour and minutes walk from Burry Port Beach and nearby dog friendly cafe. The apartment was spacious, clean & tidy and had plenty of facilities. Very helpful owner.

It was very close to all amenities. It was only a very short walk to the beach. Overall the apartment is done to a high standard. Well equipped very comfortable.

The bathroom/s and kitchen were particularly nice - very luxurious and well appointed. Bags of closet and storage space to hang clothes, 2 large screen TVs, fast broadband, lovely quiet location just a few metres from the beach. Even the instant coffee was a cut above the average! You will have a really comfortable time here. Great mid-way location for exploring over to the Gower Peninsula and Pembrokeshire.

Bring a hairdryer as there wasn't one at the property, no complaints other than that - be aware though, there has been incidents of asbestos found on the east side of the beach. Burry Port has a (very interesting) post industrial history and there is still evidence of it around, so be aware if you've got kids - and the beach is not 'blue flag' and not the best for anything other than walking and admiring the view. Nearby Cefn Sidan beach is blue flag.

lovely flat, right near the sea so could take dog onto beach at night. Chris, the owner, went above and beyond when my husband left his case behind (!!) and had it sent back to us. Thank you!!

Great place, high standard house 😍

Great size apartment for our family of four, very convenient for walking to local facilities (shop, harbour, cafes, playground) and easy drive to the attractions we were visiting (Botanic Gardens and Pembrey). The apartment itself was very clean, smart and comfortable with a well provisioned kitchen, excellent facilities, including big comfy sofa and TV for cosy evening family films! We'd be very happy to book again if we were holidaying in the area in future.

Whilst we loved this apartment, a couple of minor things to comment on for consideration include: The dining table isn't suitable for four people as the shelf below it prevents adults sitting to the table properly, as you can't get your legs under it. Either that or the chairs need to be lower. The decor, whilst very clean and smart is very representative of how I'd imagine a bachelor pad and maybe not all suited to a family holiday let; specifically the risque art in the master bedroom, which caused a good deal of embarrassment and discussion for our 9yr old son and 13yr old daughter. A little note to say which switch is for what in the kitchen would be helpful (e.g. cooker hood) and for the extractor in the ensuite, as it took quite a while to notice that one. Purely a personal perspective but neither my partner or I get on with feather pillows, but other than that the room was super comfy with a lovely big bed and we were very impressed. Both kids slept very well in the twin bedroom.

Larger than expected apartment which had everything you wanted for a long weekend away. Location is ideal for walks round the harbour and a short distance from cafes and shops too.

Nothing to dislike really other than the beds were softer than we are used to.

Good location ideal for walking / cycling, right on the doorstep of the millennium coastal path. Town nearby also the harbour right on the doorstep. Could t fault it!! Clean modern great facilities. You need to be mobile though (we were) as the apartment is via a staircase. We had a great time walking and cycling, and will definitely return in the future.
